The Zalam Union is a faction that appears in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam AGE.

A former national force made up of descendants of the "Zalam Union", a colonial power that existed in the old era before the Advanced Generation. In the past 50-year-long Colony Nation War, they fought against the Euba Alliance for supremacy in the Earth Sphere, but the war ended in a way that neither side was victorious.
However, they continued to openly possess battleships and combat MS in the colony "Fardain" in A.G. 115, and continued to fight against the Euba on a small scale. Their headquarters is a luxurious mansion. On the surface, they are a private company, but behind the scenes, they are merchants of death, buying and selling mobile suits, battleships, and their blueprints at high prices. Perhaps for this reason, Grodek Ainoa tried to obtain four battleships as a force against the UE in exchange for the EZ-7 folder, which contains confidential military information. The members wear black suits and hats, somewhat reminiscent of the mafia.
However, they join forces with the Euba when Flit Asuno, who is heartbroken by the battle, cries out and the UE appears as an emergency. Although they lost their leader Don Boyage during the battle, they cooperated with the Diva under the leadership of Euba's Ract Elfamel and contributed to the annihilation of the UE's space fortress Ambat.
According to the novelization, the Zalam Union was seeking autonomy through a small government. There were also factions that cooperated with the Federation, but around the time of the A.G. 140s, there were also those who sided with anti-Federation organizations and the Vagans, just like the Euba Alliance.
