The ZGMF-1017Q GINN-R is a mobile suit introduced in the animated film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
An uncrewed version of the ZGMF-1017 GINN, with modifications to its head and chest made to allow for remote operation. They are made to accompany the Black Knight Squad in battle, remotely-controlled by NOG-M4F Rud-ro.A mobile suits to provide additional fire support.

History[]
In C.E 75, multiple of GINN-Rs was deployed alongside the uncrewed AMF-101Q/4 DINN-Rs , as well as the crewed ZGMF/A-1018F GINN-Fs and AMF/A-102F DINN-Fs, during a joint operation between the Foundation, the Eurasian Federation, and Compass to eliminate a Blue Cosmos base in Eldore. With a scheme orchestrated by Orphee Lam Tao, the the remotely-controlled units overwhelmed the Kira's Rising Freedom and Shinn's Immortal Justice, allowing the Shi-ve.A, Rud-ro.A "Garnet" and Rud-ro.A "Emerald" to damage both Gundams beyond repair, It also damaged to Hilda's GYAN Strom.[1]
Meanwhile two other Rud-ro.As were escaped from Eurasian teritory and then spotted by Archangel. Despite fierce resistance, the Archangel sustained heavy damage from Rud-ro.A and multiple drone unit, before leading to its destruction by a nuclear blast.[1]
Several GINN-R units is later deployed in final battle to stop LHM-BB03S Millennium and its team in an attempt to destroy Requiem.[1]
