The ZGMF-1001 ZAKU Kaite Madigan Custom is a mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
Similar to the ZGMF-1017 GINN, the ZAKU Series of mobile suits is highly customizable. One of these customized suits is the ZAKU Katie Madigan Custom which is based on the ZAKU Phantom, and used by professional MS pilot, Kaite Madigan. The suit is painted olive green and features his trademark white cross on the left side of its body. It is armed with katar blades stored on the hips, and shoulder mounted shield swords, which contain Gatling guns and can also function as handheld blades. Kaite's ZAKU can also use his customized pistol and retains the ability to use Wizard Packs.
Armaments
- Shield Sword
- A pair of shields mounted on the shoulder, they are equipped with gatling guns for range combat and when handheld, they can function as swords due to their sharp edges. It is a weapon that combines defence, range and melee attack capability.
- Katar Blade
- A pair of katar blades are stored on the hips, they are handheld when in use.
- Beam gun/revolver with Bayonet
- A composite weapon used by mobile suits piloted by professional MS pilot, Kaite Madigan. It is a customized pistol that can switch between firing beam or solid rounds. It is equipped with a bayonet for close combat.

History
Despite being ZAFT's newest mobile suits, several ZAKU Phantoms and Warriors have already been acquired by Kaite Madigan, a professional MS pilot currently employed by the mysterious businessman Matias to protect Jess Rabble during his assignments.
