Yggdrasil is a fourth-generation international space station which was constructed at Lagrange 1.

History

The construction of Yggdrasil began during the last years of the A.D. calendar, and resumed upon the conclusion of the Reconstruction War in C.E. 9, and finally it was completed two years later. This space station came under attack early in the First Alliance-PLANT War, and was destroyed during the fierce Battle of Yggdrasil, between ZAFT and Earth Alliance forces on February 22, C.E. 70.
