Yamagi Gilmerton (ヤマギ・ギルマトン Yamagi Girumaton?) is a character that appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS television series.
Personality & Character
Skills & Abilities
Yamagi is a mechanic of Tekkadan working under Nadi Yukinojo Kassapa. Although not as skilled and experienced as Yukinojo, he has been show to handle some repair work for Tekkadan's mobile suits and mobile workers. Yamagi also has some creative ideas on his mind, as shown in the fireworks he made for the funeral of those who had fallen in the battle between Tekkadan and the Brewers.
History
Years after the final battle, Yamagi began working at the Kassapa Factory established by Nadi alongside Zacks and Dane.
Relationships
Norba Shino
Shino and Yamagi had a very close relationship. Yamagi was personally in charge of maintaining Shino's suits, and expressed a desire to make sure that Shino didn't die on his watch. This is due to the fact that Yamagi had a crush on Shino. After Shino's death, Eugene revealed to Yamagi that Shino was aware that Yamagi liked him romantically and was not offput by it, only finding it odd because Shino considered Yamagi as family.[1]
Takaki Uno
Takaki, Ride, and Yamagi were really good friends. Whenever the three of them were off duty, they would spend time together.
