Wattary Gilla (ワタリー・ギラ) is a fictional character in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam.
Background
An officer in BESPA's Yellow Jacket forces, stationed at the Lagraine base. Wattary battles Uso near Kassarelia after having killed both of his subordinates for their actions (one while in his mobile suit, the other when he attempted to rape Katejina). Upon being defeated by Uso, Wattary gets out of his mobile suit and is shocked to see that he was defeated by a mere boy. Unable to accept the reality that children like Uso are in the war, he pulls out a grenade and blows himself up.

Notes and Trivia
- Wattary Gilla's voice actor, Fumihiko Tachiki, also voiced Kenneth Sleg in Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash.
- Gilla's death is similar to Crank Zent's, where both fought the protagonist with a mass-production unit were defeated and attempted to commit suicide after the battle. The only difference is Gilla kills himself with a grenade, while Crank is killed by his opponent upon his own request due to his injury.
