On Friday, Crunchyroll announced plans to release Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island in select theaters for a limited engagement this month, including English-subtitled and dubbed showings in the United States, Canada and Australia.
Links to buy tickets for North American screenings are currently available on the Crunchyroll Movie Night website. Ticket sales in Australia are set to begin on September 14.
The dates for the screenings are as follows:
- United States - September 27 and 28
- Canada - September 29 and October 1
- Australia - September 29
Screenings in the United Kingdom were initially announced for September 21 and 22 with ticket sales beginning on September 16, but due to current events Crunchyroll have removed the dates until further notice.

On September 14, the UK screenings were reinstated with their original release dates, poster and UK-only trailer.
