The UM-190A Gussa is a man-machine used by the Earth Federation's Man Hunters. It appears in the novel and Radio Drama Gaia Gear.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The first in the Gussa line of mass-production man-machines, it was created by the Federation with cost and performance in mind. It is equipped with a forearm-mounted beam rifle, and a shield with a bladed tip. In addition its armaments include the Sand Barrel, a shotgun-like defensive weapon that is capable of destroying incoming missiles or damaging funnels. Gussa can also equip a Minovsky Craft Flight Unit, or a Long Range Drive Unit, to increase its flight performance.
