The Type 100 appeared on an illustration (titled "Z the Renaissance") both on the Z Gundam memorial LD box booklet and in the January 1994 issue of Newtype Magazine. Also featured in the illustration are Mamoru Nagano's renditions of the Hamma Hamma (labeled MS-38 in the January 2007 issue of Newtype Magazine), Hambrabi and Rick Dias.
History[]
The Type 100 is a single-pilot, second-generation Mobile suit that was designed primarily as an attacker type unit. Notable features of this machine are an 70% increase in power output and a 43% upgrade in maneuverability, and it was piloted by a reputable former-Zeon ace.
This machine was created when the Earth Federation discarded the Anaheim E type, preferring the other mobile suit of the Project Zeta.
