The Treize Faction is a splinter group of OZ soldiers loyal to Treize Khushrenada that was introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.
History[]
After Treize Khushrenada resisted the introduction of Mobile Dolls and stepped down as General of OZ, a faction continued to follow his ideals and rebelled against the new OZ, in which the Duke Dermail (head of the Romefeller Foundation) took over the reins. The conflict between the two groups rapidly worsened, leading to an armed conflict that split the Earth sphere in two. Dermail tried to suppress the conflict by supporting Relena Peacecraft and using her advocacy of "total pacifism".
The Treize Faction's headquarters was eventually located in Luxembourg, where Treize himself secretly resided. However, the headquarters was later demolished by the Romefeller Foundation and the faction's Earth-based forces were defeated. The remaining members of the group were eventually folded back into OZ when Treize returned and assumed control of Romefeller. The faction's space-based forces eventually reformed under Quinze as the White Fang and forgo their allegiance to Treize in favor of a larger allegiance to space colonial life.
