Yes I found there is a quite a large variety of mobile suits and armours from Anno Domini, it also seems that After Colony and Anno Domini are more realistic in most aspects than some of the other timelines I've looked at.
I've only seen Gundam Wing, Gundam SEED and Gundam 00 though I've had a look at the three latest series (AGE, Reconguista and IBO) and thought they seemed a bit far-fetched, could you suggest any other Gundam media that is similar to AC and AD in respect to realism?
