Both lead from the front both are leaders of a organization. However Char is a very manipulative person were Treize is far more honest so who would you rather work for and why.
Me I would rather work for Treize as he may be manipulative but he mainly does it by using information to his advantage. His sense of honor is really what would draw me to him as he despises dishonorable tactics like threating to destroy colonies if the gundam pilots did not surrender or the use of mobile dolls. He would also give his life for his subordinates as seen when he got in front of Odin Lowe Jr.’s (Heero Yuy (pilot)) rocket to save Noin’s Life and the control tower. The only reason he let the gundam pilots kill the pacifist leaders of the earth sphere was to accelerate Romefeller takeover. That’s why I would fallow Treize.
Treize is definitely the more ethical of the two. Char is far more Machiavellian in his style of leadership, in that the ends justify the means. While Char does respect the people under him, he is willing to take advantage of them to advance his goals. However, Char certainly had a more tragic life than Treize, at a much younger age and saw far more atrocities, which probably further affected him due to his newtype 6th sense. Char however, is not without his sense of honor. It was his honor, that had him provide AE with the psycoframe, so that he and Amuro could fight on even terms. However that being said, Treize is probably the leader who will treat those under his command better. However, Char is the leader more likely to actually win an all out war, since he is willing to take any measure necessary to win. Treize for whatever reason, invested more in his fight with Wufei, and basically committed suicide after admitting how many deaths he had caused, depriving his men of the leader they cared about.
First off it was Char’s pride that made him leak the BP for the psyco frame to AE . He wanted to fight Amuro with a machine that was equals to his own so he could prove he was better than Amuro. As for tragic pasts well Treize may not be as tragic as char he saw just as many atrocities as he has been on the battlefield since he was at least 15 as he was Zechs instructor in the academy when Zechs was 10. In addition, Treize may have been there when the Sanc kingdom fell originally. I feel (and in my story Mobile suit Sakula wright) Treize as a Newtype do to a small seen in one of the episodes.( I do not feel like spending the next ten minuets looking for the right one) in the seen he stops a mother from grabbing here child that is crawling onto a dock chasing a butter fly. The baby then proceeds to stand up and take its first steps to its mother with Treize watching with a smile. So that is why I wright him as a new type. Treize is also the son of the original Heero Yuy’s brother ein yuy. Who is later killed.
Treize has possibly seen as much violence in combat, but not as many atrocities. Char saw his father assasinated by his closest aide, and was forced to flee his home, knowing he was also be killed in the following purge, all this at the age of 9. He saw half the population of the Earth Sphere annihilated in the opening of the OYW, and saw multiple colonies dropped before 0093. Treize believed that humans would do the right thing, and had faith in them. By the time of 0093, after observing the Zabis, Titans, Haman's Neo Zeon and the corruption of the Federation, Char has lost all hope in humanity, especially Earthnoids, which is why he begins dropping asteroids on Earth attempting to force everyone into space to become newtypes, or die in the process.
Also, that scene you mentioned from Wing doesn't really put any evidence towards Treize being a newtype. It shows his belief and faith in humanity, especially those who are innocent and uncorrupted. The only character in Wing even alluded to be a possible newtype is Quatre Rebarba Winner, with his "heart of outer space" and multiple moments of extrasensory perception.
That being said, I agree with you that Treize is somebody I would want to follow in battle over Char. Zechs/Milliardo's style of leadership is more similar to Char's in that he is willing to use any means to accomplish his goals. If anything, Treize is more similar to Char in his Quattro Bajeena persona in his style of leadership. He values his subordinates and seeks to help them avoid unnecessary tragedy, and helps develop potential in those he sees it in. He looks after his subordinates and friends, but is not above disciplining them when they step out of line. Zechs is more like Char 0079 initially, and while leading the White Fang as Milliardo, is very similar to Char 0093.
They are both interesting characters with good speeches. Although I wish Treize was more implicit on his motives as much as Char should've had a more understanding fall from grace. I mean, he goes missing, doesn't appear in the Axis Zeon war, and then reappears with a mission to exterminate Earth? No offense, but that's not cracking.
it has been implyed that Char raised manava dering the first neo zeon war. he may have also been working as a ms test pilot for AE at this time as he is credetid as the pilot of the first delta plus in the profile of this unit.
It's theorized/possibly implied that Char had something to do with Mineva's escape from Neo Zeon. However, I have never seen anything about him raising her, and it seems unlikely that he would raise her, and then just leave to form the second Neo Zeon. Also, not sure where you read that he was the pilot of the first Delta Plus, I have never seen anything like that. There is really nothing hints at what Char did from UC 0088 to whenever in the UC 0090's he took over as leader of Neo Zeon. Bright and Sayla suggested at the end of ZZ that he is observing from the sidelines until he sees a time to step out into the front again.
char reapeared in 0093 but i say he worked as a test pilot for AE until he actualy began his plan to plunge earth into a nuculer winter. this would have allowed him to hid his ploting and arms build up. during that time AE built a delta gundam as a starting point for the delta plus and then AE improved that unit into the delta plus prototype which char would probaly use until the sazabi or Rote doga was finished. char atleast paid for her miss zabi's schooling.
finaly Diseasicon you did not andswer the question this form is asking, please do so.
I would rather follow Treize. By following Treize, you know that you are valued as a person and soldier, and there is respect. You won't be asked to do anything he wouldn't do. Char has no problem using his soldiers as tools and sending you to your death knowing that will be the only end result. That being said, I prefer Char as a character.
Also, the actual Delta Gundam was never built, it existed only as simulation data. Due to it's frame issues, it was a failure of a mobile suit, and would have broken down upon transforming. Kamille was the one who designed the working transformation system for the AEUG/Anaheim. It was only by removing the transformation components that they could build it as the Hyaku Shiki, and then reworked the data and design to build the Delta Plus in UC 0090. Up until the Zeta was built, the only Titans/EFF transformable suits were built by the Newtype Labs, or designed by Paptimus Scirocco.
Zeon was generally ahead in mobile suit development, especially when it came to newtype weaponry. They had the first newtype mobile weapons with all-range attack, and later wireless weapons. They had the first all range attack method developed for oldtypes as early as 0083 with the half control system. They initially developed Gundarium Gamma, which only made it's way to the Earth Sphere after Char defected from Axis. They had the first mass produced transformable suit with the Gaza-A and B, and the first combat worthy one with multiple weapons in the Gaza-C, however, it also had frame problems and after transforming a certain number of times, it would break down, however they would correct this in the Gaza-D. They miniaturized the psycommu system, and bits to funnels before the EFF had really even really figured out how to implement bits. Lastly, they developed the psycoframe first, which only fell into the hands of the EFF because Char intentionally gave it to Anaheim. The only time they fell behind in MS development was really during Project V, which later, they surpassed with the Gelgoog and it's mass production, seeing as it was nearly on par with the Gundam, but it was too late for Zeon at that point.
The first MP transformable suit that could transform a presumably unlimited amount of times, was the Asshimar, and it was limited in combat by it's lack of melee weapons.
Yes, they probably did use the Hyaku Shiki to develop the Delta Plus, or at least it's data, combined with the original data of Delta Gundam, as well as whatever data they had from transformable suits which included at the very least, Z Gundam, ZZ Gundam, and the Methuss.
actualy zeon was behind on MS armor develupment as they only made gundanum gama after the they got the sample of Luna titainum. also the Luna titanum well a bit heavyer then gama it seemed to have better resistence to mega particals then the gama. they also did not develup the mobile frame as that was created via the MK II.
Char because he was charismatic enough to have former enemies follow him in Zeta. Treize had some charisma but his actions were so brutal and violent I doubt he could convince anyone to follow him that wasn't already. Char was really good at keeping his most brutal accomplishments, like manipulating to get rid of the Zabi family on the down low. At least until Char's Counterattack when he got fed up with humanity and went all out.

Treize had nothing to do with the use of Mobile dolls, that was all romafeller.
Never said anything about Treize using mobile dolls either way. Just saying Char is the more charismatic of the two and I don't recall Treize really getting anyone who opposed him to follow him the way Char did in Zeta.
Most of the former enemies that followed Char in Zeta did so because they were aware that the Titans were basically Jamitov Hymen's private army so he could control the Earth Sphere. Most of them, even Amuro, acknowledged that they were enemies due to circumstance during the OYW, soldiers on the opposite side of a battlefield. By Zeta and ZZ, it becomes pretty obvious that the Federation is not the heroic organization that they appeared to be during MSG, and Amuro is all too familiar with that since he's been under house arrest and spied on since the end of the OYW.
While his betrayal of the Zabis was pretty brutal, he was only responsible for the death of two of them; Garma and Kycilia. Dozle was killed by Amuro, and Ghiren and Degwin were killed by members of their own family, as well as Sasro. If you take Origin into account, Kycilia killed just as many of her family as Char did.
Better leader? Treize no contest, he's a lot smarter with politics and he's a moral and phylosophical character
Better pilot? Char, he has more experience and it's a new type
But overall I give it to Treize, he can pilot a Gundam with the Zero System and Pilot the Tallgeese that is known tokill it's pilots so he's a GOOD pilot just not Newtype good, altough it could be argued that he could win with the Zero system and his leadership skills are far superior. I don't see Char caring about his soldier's lives at all.
