  • This has been bugging me, lately. From what I read of the Tragedy, it happened just a mere two days before the Alliance was founded. And, four days after that, they immediately declare war on the PLANTs.

Does anyone else, besides me, notice how fast the Earth Alliance came to be, after the UN was wiped out, and the declaration of hostilities?

This had to be the work of Blue Cosmos, unless I'm going crazy here.

    • Wow, a response! I thought nobody was gonna answer. And yes, it's highly suspicious how fast the Earth Alliance was founded and immediately after they declare war on the PLANTs, it just screams right in front of us that Blue Cosmos was behind the bombing.

And why wouldn't BC do that? Cause the UN were the only thing standing in the way of BC's genocidal ideals. It's completely OBVIOUS!

    • Well you can hide a lot uner turmil and catastrof*ck. Get a few Generals on the warpath, and a few on the payrole, and pow! War.

It's normallyn ot that simple, but being seed...

    • And it's supposed to be in a possible future or whatever, so I guess politics can work differently given the circumstances, especially if Blue Cosmos/Logos is that well funded and foreknown.

    • True.

    • The Show is also a work of it's time, were a lot of theories about using tragety as a fast track to war were rampant (still are, but not as bad) So the thought of having people iching for the one hitter quitter (As if I remember right, right after this was Junious 7?)

BC knows this, and just by having the money and the people (there are several characters even in seed who are BC friendly in the EA). All they needed was the right cover.

    • Indeed.

    • Thanks for clearing that up with me, both of you.

    • Seeing that The Origin “officially established” the Principality a decade after Zeon Deikun’s death instead of a year as other media would say, I suppose it could be possible that the information on Gundam Official could conflict with what the producers had in mind, or something. I guess it depends what’s said in the show itself which may conflict with what’s said in the archived website.

    • So what you're trying to say in theory is that Blue Cosmos are the ones responsible for what happened at Copernicus. It would make perfect sense, considering they would do whatever it takes to wipe out the Coordinators. If only the officials would make this theory a part of SEED series canon.
