  • In Keroro Gunsou, there is a scene where he spots a certain Master Grade YMS-15 Gyan Gunpla and, in the English dub (I haven't checked the original), notes that it's a rare version that has the Beam Sword manufactured on a 1/10:1 scale instead of 1/100:1 like the rest of the model. Is that a real item?

    • Probably not. I don't think anything has ever been manufactured in 1/10-scale. The closest I can think of is that 1/12-scale Zaku II I once saw online. And a 1/10-scale beam sword would have a blade probably about three feet long.

    • Hey, I've never heard of that 1/12 Zaku, can you send me a link?

    • Actually.. There were 1/10 scale beam sabers that were sold around the time where the MG Gundam Ver.2.0 was released. I remember seeing advertisement for these in the box of the said Master Grade. But they were more made to be used by kids. Star Wars-style, you know.

Other than that, 1/10 scale statues have been manufactured for hobby shows..

    • I think you are talking about the HY2M 1/12 Air Shock Battle Beam Saber. There's no beam of course, not even clear part. It's like laser tag but with a sword instead of a gun, it makes different sounds including slash, stab, explosion, etc depending on how you swing it and where you swing it at, and also knows if you are clashing blades with another beam saber. It fits into the HY2M 1/12 Gundam's backpack if that's where you want to store it.
