  • Can you link the site where you found this info? All I've found are message board posts that go "unconfirmed but the legs look like the Zudah's."

    • I am currently asking on MechaTalk about it (no replies yet), but from what can be seen, the legs (as you stated) appear to be from the Zudah, while the rear boosters are from the Zaku II.

But, as far as I know, that's where the similarities end between those 2 end.

    • Oh okay, it's best to ask them about this stuff. It'll be better to wait for a response to that thread rather than further editing the article.

    • This article makes my head hurt. First, the Gefangener GM is a separate unit from the GM Camouf. Second, I'm not sure where that claim came from but there is nothing to support the leg and booster similarity in the mecha dossier from the MS IGLOO data book or from the manga itself. The line in the data profile says "Although it is said that the Zaku system was used from the power pipes fixed on its back to the values of the generator output, these opinions are only speculative."

    • Finally got a reply from those guys at MechaTalk.

According to them, the only mobile suit with fram that's slender enough to pass for a GM would be the Zudah (hinting that the Zaku II is slightly bulkier than the Zudah), but there still isn't enough tech specs and history on the GM Camouf.

    • And he's speculating anyways. There's a detailed history of the unit in the data book.

    • Alright, so where in that data book does it say that the GM Camouf is based on the Zaku II?

        Loading editor
    • It doesn't. There is no listing for what it is based off. Ergo anything other than saying "what it is based off of remains unknown" will be pure BS.
