Template:Infobox/Mobile Weapon Ver.2"The Gundam" (ザ・ガンダム Za Gandamu?) is a mobile suit featured in Mobile Suit Gundam AGE ⇀EXA-LOG↽. It is a reconstruction of the legendary mobile suit known only as "the Gundam", hence its name.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
The Gundam was built as part of the commemoration of the Vagan war's end by researcher scientists of the mobile suit restoration project.

- Although there is little information about its original weapons, the tentatively-named "Excalibur" is based on a painting in the Asuno house depicting the Gundam with a "sword."
History
The original "Gundam" appears in an early legend from the time of the Silver Chalice Treaty as the "savior that ended the war." Further evidence of the myth was provided by Flit Asuno later in his life and by documents left at the Asuno house, as well as access to EXA-DB. It was constructed with reference to the AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal and celebrated upon its completion.
