The Tequila Gundam (Daniel Specification) is a Gunpla that appears in Gundam Build Divers. It is built and operated by Daniel.

Overview

This is a modified Gunpla based on the Tequila Gundam that appears in Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Like the Diver, its appearance and armament are cowboy-like. The sombrero on his head has also been modified into a cowboy hat. However, the fins on the head and the cactus-like parts on the shoulders and arms were omitted. It is equipped with two beam pistols and a banjo-shaped beam rifle, giving it a more cowboy look. For extra firepower, Daniel drags the Tail Unit from the Gundam Kyrios into battle, to launch a missile bombardment unto his enemies from afar.

History

The Gunpla was used by Daniel of the Desperado force when he challenged Tigerwolf to gain points. After defeating two GM Trainer Gunplas, he fought and nearly defeated Riku Mikami, Yukio Hidaka and Momoka Yashiro. However, he was interrupted and defeated by Tigerwolf and his Gundam Jiyan Altron.

Notes & Trivia

• The Kyrios' Tail Unit dragged by the Gunpla is an homage to the 1966 Spaghetti Western film Django, where the title character dragged a coffin containing a machine gun.
• Similarly, the banjo-shaped beam rifle is an homage to the 1969 film Sabata of the same genre, featuring a character who hid a rifle within the banjo he played.
