I am curious who designed this template, or perhaps who began implementing it as the form for mobile suits. I personally feel that it is significantly less legible than the mobile suit template, though I admit it has been some time since I looked at it's contents and examined its code. Personally I think that we should take this template, increase the text size and give it the nice legible section dividers that are present on the mobile suit template, or better, the ones on the infoboxes used on some of the UC starships. I think they have the strongest design and readability, they just fail to posses any dynamic properties that make them reusable. Seems to me that it is chains of referencing and sub-referencing that make templates so handy... also what makes them impossible for most of us to even begin to approach designing. I think there should be fields for real life designer(s) and "first animated appearance" (latter will be useful for MSV that later make appearance in animate titles). My girlfriend is a loli. 04:34, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
- Designate the area of the form that the input should be located, and where and how the infobox should display it. — SimAnt 06:11, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
- I think that real life fact should be above image(s). Designer(s), First Appearance, and if the "First Appearance" isn't animated one, "First Animated Appearance".My girlfriend is a loli. 07:37, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
It's "Hangar", not "Hanger"
Every ship profile for a MS carrier has this field called "MS Hangers". A "hanger" is something upon which you hang something else, or something which hangs something else. A "hangar" is a big building where you store and maintain aircraft or other vehicles.
I can't fix this because I apparently don't have permission to edit this template. But what should happen is that "MS Hangars" should be added as a field, and any page using this template should be edited to switch from using "MS Hangers" to "MS Hangars" - and then, the "MS Hangers" field should be deleted from this template.
- I have changed the display name in the template, but the variable name doesn't render on the screen so it is not a significant issue. 23:48, August 7, 2013 (UTC)
"Prototype" has nothing to do with product number, it simply mean it's prototype of something (either testing new tech, or simply see if the thing can be produce economically). GAT-X399/Q Wild Dagger, for example, is to test the viability of the design for mass production and thus has 72 machines produced. On other hand, we have XXXG-01W Wing Gundam, which is single machine despite being "final product" by itself.
I suggest using word "unique" or "limited production", depend on the number of machine, and move prototype to purpose. --My girlfriend is a loli. 05:44, November 29, 2013 (UTC)
Broken Reference Section
The Reference section is broken, it runs right next to the unit name. I'd fix it myself but the template is locked.
