The Tekki-Musha Haganemaru Go is a Gunpla featured in Model Suit Gunpla Builders Beginning J.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The Tekki-Musha Haganemaru-Go is an original Gunpla custom built by Masaki Susuki based on Tekki Musha Haganemaru from the SD Gundam BB Senshi series. Having a particular fondness for the MSZ-008 ZII from Z-MSV, and the ZII-based Musha Haganemaru, he was disappointed that it had not received an official 1/144 scale model kit, so when the HGUC ReZEL was released he began work creating the ultimate fusion of Musha Haganemaru and the ZII. It took him a year to complete, but he put all of his pride into it.

Combining Haganemaru's transformation gimmick with the transforming mechanisms of the HGUC ReZEL, it is capable of agile movement in both SD and Real Modes. The decoration is somewhat subdued in the style of more contemporary SD Gundam kits. "Go" was added to the name to make it sound stronger. It can fly in its Wave Rider form, attacking with missiles and its Mega Shooter, and shooting with its Omega Beam Rifle in Real Mode and SD Mode, and also fighting with its renowned sword Haganeretsu. It can transform nearly instantly because it uses the power of neodymium magnets, and can even separate its body into pieces to attack the enemy and then combine again. Its SD head is steel-reinforced to give it a crushing headbutt. This Gunpla truly embodies the idea that "SD Gundam is Freedom."

Armaments

A beam cannon mounted on the back.

• Missiles

Ten missile tubes are located on the rear of each foot.

• Omega Beam Rifle

A beam launcher based on the ZII's Mega Beam Rifle. It is handheld in use in both Real and SD Modes, and can be connected to the underside in Wave Rider Mode.

• Haganeretsu

Two beam swords sheathed on the hips. They can be joined at the hilt to form a twin beam sword.

Notes & Trivia

• The Tekki Musha Haganemaru-Go's concept of transforming between SD and Real modes was carried over to the SD-237S Star Winning Gundam of Gundam Build Fighters Try.
• The MSZ-008 ZII would later receive an official HGUC model kit in 2014, a little over four and a half years after the release of the HGUC ReZEL (Commander Type) used in its construction.
