Isn't United Nations Earth's name the Federation?[]
When I saw the subs, the name is the federation and something is bothering me about whether I should change the name or not. There are other factions whose name is similar to that too. ----Masurao14----

'Chikyuu Renpo' = 'United Nations Earth'?[]
Someone asked this before on the talk page but I want to elaborate.
This faction is called 地球連邦 (Earth Federation, same as several other timelines) in Japanese, and I was wondering if UNE was the official English rendering of it or not. If you don't know, they did something similar with 00, where there is also a 地球連邦 but it was rendered as Earth Sphere Federation in the official translation. Does anyone here have access to the recent English DVD release of X and can confirm this? I ask since fansubs were the only source we had for this series for many years so things may have changed officially. Phillip Jeffries (talk) 22:51, December 4, 2017 (UTC)
