Propsed changes
- Reorganisation of the main page to make it look like an introduction page rather than the cluttered mess it is in right now. The main page would be a frequent point of entry for users and we should do our best to make it look as friendly and attractive as possible to attract readers.
- Addition of news updates from the Gundam scene.
- Someone want to change the section titles to some other color besides bright eye-stabbing yellow?
You may have noticed I've improved and/or added quite a few articles. Just figured it was sad some things wrong with this wiki, although it seems some articles were named dif, so you may see a few accidental articles that are more than one of the same thing (Only example I've seen is Dynstay Warriors Gundam, under the Gundam Listings some of them are Gundams already here just named odd or whatnot). I also added additional Navigation that lists by century and series, and moved it to the bottom of the page. I hopet his at least somwhat improves this page. Your welcome. --Chipmonk329

Template Technology
I propose that we create a template for the various technologies that appear in the Gundam Series (GN Drives, Neutron Jammers, Satellite Cannon...). Has anybody an idea what such a template should include ? I suggest that we use templates like the ones on the Star Wars Wikia (example of Weapon Template). Own pages for different Striker Pack equipped suits
Over the past few weeks, I have expanded the different articles of the Cosmic Era timeline. I plan to continue to do this but now I have a question regarding certain suits to ask. There are several suits which can be equipped with Striker, Wizard and whatever packs (Strike, Dagger, ZAKU, Dagger L...). Should I write an own article for every suit even if only the pack is different or should the suits be combined into one. I myself prefer the different articles for each suit. After all this is a Wikia and it would make it far easier to write the individual pages than combine all infos into one article, especially with suits who have so much packs like the Strike of the Impulse. - Just like current version, simply written the Striker Pack as equipment. The quickest way is link to invidual pack in striker packs article, but has section for each pack in MS article is better. Seperate it into several articles is the worst idea, especially when you think of Astray Outframe and its ability to equip almost everything ^_^ . Kuruni 03:47, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comment although I don't agree with you. While it may be quicker and easier to simple link to the individual packs or write a short comment about the configuration, it would make the articles overly long and perhaps even unorganized. Although individual articles may be rather short, if you look at other Wikias they also often write an article for nearly every small theme, equipment, .... Also some specially equipped suits often have their own story, which can be added to the article. Lastly there is no limit of articles we can write on the Wikia. Its after all a Wikia about Gundam which allows us to go into great detail. Look at the Wookiepedia and how detailed their articles often are. Diabound00 15:39, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- I known, just to point out that it will be real pain if you want to work on the Outframe (as noted, known to equip with all common Striker, Wizard and Silhouette plus few extra. And also has Outframe D as seperate variant, the later simply has few cosmetic modifications two pilot seats). Personally, I like it more when closely relate stuff put in one article since it provide better picture of the subject. The worst case, IMO, is when an article simply repeat another save for single sentence on cosmetic note. Although it's just opinion. Kuruni 08:26, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- I do get your point and believe me, I don't plan to make the mistakes you did point out. If a suit with a striker, wizard silhouette, pack has enough material to be put into an own article then I will do (Gunner ZAKU Warrior, f.e.) but if there are too much different versions without enough story for each of them then I will include them in a single article (I already did it for the Raysta Yoon Sefan or the different Hyperion Gundams). Lack of Table Style classes

Hey guys was just woundering if anyone would be interested in adding a poll to the main page, i put this in the preview of the main page and it looked ok but, but since it is a wikia everyone should have an opinion and their say.

Changes
The Main page needs some changes aound here. I have a few suggestions.
- Most of the big links of here are 00 related. We should put in some UC stuff here as well
- The same quote has been up for awhile now. We shoud find a good character quote and put it there.
- The featued article should probably be changed monthly. Say for October we have a article on the Sinanju or somethig.
- Does anyone have the main page template so I can go in and make some proposed changes?

- The name of the templates are in the article of main page when you press edit. I'll try to get them one by one when I have time. One thing though, when changing something in there, it would be good if you change it based on user suggestions (for now if possible). There are already people who voted for next Featured Quote for example, I don't think ignoring them would be a good idea. --Bronx01 18:24, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
