- A MS is guaranteed with its own page or not is not by how much it differs from other variants, but if it have enough unique lore (history, technology, etc). There are numerous MS that differ far less from other variants but have their own pages without dispute. The issue with AoZ is that its a very deep rabbit hole, so many of the stub articles from the series are simply because no one does the edit even though there might be pages after pages of official reference materials for these MS. If you are familiar with the source manga enough to know that there is not enough lore for this particular MS in the first place (hence not because no one bothers to write), then merging could be the right move.
