SD Gundam G Generation World has this unit listed as "先行量産型ボール".
My Japanese is a tad rusty, but I'm pretty sure it means something like "Early Mass Production Type Ball", which would imply that the RB-79K actually came before the regular RB-79.
What are your opinions?

We don't really use the G Generation Games for information in-universe. It's been known as the Ball Type K for awhile now, so we're sticking with thatGaeaman788: admin on Gundam Wiki 16:55, June 15, 2012 (UTC)
Cannons Caliber[]
- I use "Double Cannon" as seen on MG manual. It's seem that there's confusion regarding their diameter. Japanese Wikipedia article listed 180mm and 30mm, both with source citation (as well as how the first figure cause some controversies (and I can see why, the bloody things are clearly smaller than Ball's cannon). And apparently, they're called "Fifteen Caliber" in the show itself.--My girlfriend is a loli. 05:55, July 31, 2020 (UTC)
