Is the Gundarium refered to here actually Gundanium Alloy? Simant 18:30, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
Gundarium and Gundanium are the same thing in principle but they come from different Gundam Universes.
The original RX-78-2 statistics state it was constructed from the luna titanium alloy, which was renamed Gundarium in homage to the powerful mobile suit that was constructed from it. As the Universal Century time-line progressed improved versions of Gundarium that was both lighter and sturdier than the original.
Gundanium is from the After Colony time-line however it existed before the Gundams which in fact have their name derived from the alloy. Also Gundanium seems to be tougher and lighter than Gundarium as the After Colony Gundams seemed to be virtually indestructible and take tremendous amounts of hits before showing damage, and their official stats list them as being far lighter than any UC mobile suit.--Animefan29 01:59, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
Alpha, Beta, Gamma Gundarium Alloy[]
Hello, in various gundam U.C. series I heard about many wariations of gundarium Alloy, but here is only wery first is subjected. How about others? -- Rimus 23:27, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
Well there are other versions of Gundarium alloy, one being Gundarium Gamma that was developed by Axis and used to build the Rick Dias, and according to the official states Anaheim Electronics used a new alloy called Gundarium Alpha to make the Nemo, but I don't know about a Gundarium Beta. Also as far as I can tell after Zeta Gundam any new alloy was referred to as Gundarium alloy/(insert additive). In the late Universal Century it was common to use a Gundarium alloy mixed with some sort of ceramic compound to make the mobile suit lighter. Beyond that I don't know what to say.--Animefan29 03:45, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
There is Gundarium ฮณ that Rick Dias made of. What difference? -- Rimus 12:21, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
Aside from it being lighter, I don't know what the differences are.--Animefan29 12:45, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
