This is so poorly organized. I suggest to take a look at how Kamen Riders Wiki handle it.—This unsigned comment was made by Kuruni (talk • contribs) on 2016-05-11T04:46:55.
- Are we positive every article for a Gundam has "Gundam" in the page title?--FortressMaximus #WeLoveLegends (Talk) Sign 13:57, April 9, 2018 (UTC)
Shouldn't either the Age-3 or Age-FX be removed from the list on the top, since the Age-FX is built on the frame of the Age-3? Unit Null (talk) 21:12, September 17, 2020 (UTC)Unit Null
- Correct me if I'm wrong., but I think only the core fighter is modified from 3 to FX but the frame is newly built.--My girlfriend was a loli. 03:02, September 18, 2020 (UTC)
- I'm not 100% sure anymore, been a bit since I watched Age; if memory serves, the only two shots of the Age-FX under construction are the remains of the Age-3 wired up to the Age builder, and then an episode or two later the Age-FX wired up to the Age builder Unit Null (talk) 00:04, September 21, 2020 (UTC) Unit Null
Quick question, where would The Gundam and Try Age Gundam go in this list? Try Age doesn't have its own category if I'm not completely blind, and while the former is technically from EXA, it also exists canonically within Age Unit Null (talk) 14:15, October 1, 2020 (UTC) Unit Null
Shouldn't the Tallgeese also go on here? According to.... Battlefield of Pacifists I think, the workers building it just called it "Gundam", and that'S where Gundanium got its name from in the first place. Not addressed like that in the show, but between that and the output of the thing I'd say it qualifies Unit Null (talk) 17:38, November 5, 2020 (UTC)Unit Null
Re:Zeph08 edit As per the HG G-Exes manual, the G- in it (and presumable the Bouncer and Xiphos as well) stands for Gundam, so those should stay. Also gonna argue in favor of Gastima and Gaeon, the aesthetic and role they fill narratively is pretty much the same as any of the other G Reco Gundam types, plus being made by the same people that made G-Lucifer and having the same naming convention of G-term, just without the dash. Unit Null (talk) 21:58, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- Nope the HG G-Exes manual did not state that the "G" stands for Gundam. It only says in Woolf's profile that Woolf has a strong interest in Gundam AGE-1, so he went and make his own「Gundam」- the G-Exes. And no, that does not make it a Gundam. You don't see people/companies that make their own version of a product, say an iphone or a playstation, call it as such. The japanese wiki did state the G is an acronym for 'Gundam', but it did not give a source, so the claim is suspect. As for G-Bouncer, it is even more clear cut that it is not a Gundam - the HG manual outright says that Woolf add the "G" to the mobile suit name himself.
- As for Gastima and Gaeon, just because they have aesthetic and role 'narratively' is not sufficient for them to be considered a Gundam. According to the 'Reconguista in G | Perfect Pack Book', they are a total of seven known "G" system units: Gundam G-Self, Gundam G-Arcane, Gastima, Gaeon, Gundam G-Lucifer, Kabakali, and the mobile armor Grod, and although these machines are developed by different parties, they are collectively called "G" system because their basic design is of a Gundam-type. Again, just because a machine is a 'Gundam-type' does not automatically make it a Gundam. Really, official declaration in its name that a MS is Gundam is the key here.Zeph08 (talk) 09:10, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
