The complete box set for the Shin SD Gundam Gaiden: Gold Saga Carddass series confirms that Satan Gundam fused with a dragon upon arriving in the Saddrac World. The original Superior Dragon, Golden God Superior Dragon, split up after being heavily damaged in a battle with another God. The soul became separate, armor became the one worn by the Golden Knight (Knight Char), and the dragon part of him fused with Musha Mark III's evil half (Satan Gundam).
