Suletta Mercury (スレッタ・マーキュリー Suretta Mākyurī?), is the main protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury. She is a second-year student at the Asticassia School of Technology's piloting department, who transferred to the school from Mercury. She was the pilot of the Gundam Aerial developed on Mercury [8], and later she became the pilot of the Gundam Calibarn that was seized by the Space Assembly League during the Vanadis Incident.
Personality & Character
Suletta is very timid and lacks communication skills [8], which can make her seem immature and unassertive for a girl her age. When talking to unfamiliar people, she has a habit of stuttering her words and cowering in tenser moments. She also tends to make louder physical and verbal reactions in situations, especially so when she is surprised or shocked. Suletta always tries to carry a positive and excited demeanor in her daily life and interactions with others. When feeling overwhelmed, she is very hard on herself and feels scared of facing her challenges [9]. Despite feeling awkward in social situations, Suletta remains very close to her friends and is very willing to meet and learn about new people [10]. When noticing her friends struggling, she is quick to come to their aid and comfort them. She tries to mediate conflict and disagreements when she can, and she is not afraid to challenge bullies [11]. Further events develop this further, showing that although Suletta is generally a shy person, her sense of duty and emotions are so strong that, with proper motivation, she is able to both continue active activities, ignoring the traumatic experience, and quickly recover and return from severe depression to help others[1] [2].
Suletta is very dependent on the trust and approval of others to help herself feel validated. She is very apologetic to her friends when she thinks something is wrong, and she often looks for chances to make herself useful [12]. One of her biggest goals is founding a school on Mercury to help others and bring more younger people to the planet, which she sees as a duty to help the struggling people she grew up around [9]. However, her willingness to serve and trust others can leave her vulnerable to people with manipulative intentions, and she often fails to realize people's ulterior motives.
Suletta deeply loves her mother and relies on her to get through her greatest challenges. She often calls her to discuss her personal issues and ask for her guidance, viewing her as a "magician" that helps move her along [13]. However, she also pushes herself closer to her mother and away from others when her doubts escalate, and she is so reliant on her that she is willing to discard her own dreams and ideas, even if it means going against her closest friends [14]. She is also very closely connected with the Aerial, which she views as a close sibling [15]. She feels much calmer when piloting the Aerial, and she often talks directly to it while piloting and in her downtime [16].
To cope with her struggles, Suletta hews closely to her mother's motto "If you move forward you gain two, if you run you gain one", which compels her to act more assertive and keep pushing through her challenges [11], even if she has immense doubts while doing so [12][6]. Because of this, Suletta acts more decisive and collected in emergency situations, especially if it involves piloting the Aerial or rescuing others from physical harm [3][13]. She often offers her mother's motto to other people when she thinks she can help them with their problems [11][13].
While she can act decisively in combat situations, Suletta also lacks awareness of the stakes of violence and death. In mobile suit duels, she often uses her GUND-bits to make brutal and near-lethal attacks on the other suits, which disturbs both her opponents and her friends [16][13]. She is willing to fight and even kill if it means protecting the ones she loves, but she often remains visibly disconnected from the violence she causes and often tries to repress her fears about it [6], and her nonchalance can unsettle those closest to her.
Following the Plant Quetta Incident, Suletta slowly becomes more independent as she is cut off from those who she had previously relied on. While being abandoned initially led her into denial and falling into depression, she steadily recovers with support from the Earth House and realizes her mistake in taking the lives of her enemies' so lightly after witnessing the Asticassia Massacre. Afterward, Suletta began taking more initiative by actively aiding those in need, finding purpose in helping others of her own volition.
Additionally, reflecting on her relationship with Prospera and the Aerial made her realize how toxic it was. Even before being cast off by them, she had already begun to think about the nature of her mother's teachings, despite Prospera's and the Aerial's attempts to reassure her. After learning the truth about her origins, Suletta realizes that, while there is some familial love between them, her well-being was always secondary to Prospera. Nevertheless, she remains resolute that she must do what she can to help others, iterating on her mother's motto that "[she] must move forward, even if she does not gain [anything]". Ultimately, Suletta's newfound appreciation for life led her to choose to confront her family, seeing that they, like she once did, do not care about lives being lost in pursuit of their goals.
Skills & Abilities
Suletta is a very adept pilot, most so when using the Gundam Aerial. She remains collected and precise when piloting and is able to perform many difficult flight and battle maneuvers in both mock duels and real combat situations. Suletta improvises to sudden changes in environment conditions or her opponents' tactics, even when sometimes needing support from others. Suletta also maintains decent control when piloting other mobile suits, such as the Demi Trainer[9], and can also perform quick moves with smaller machinery like the Asticassia scooters[13].
Suletta communicates directly with the Aerial and GUND-bits when piloting. She is skilled at directing and using the bits both for offensive attacks and diversions, but she also employs them in several shielding and defensive tactics. Suletta also uses the GUND-bits' laser beams to disable her opponents' mobile suits with great precision, often cutting off all external limbs with several quick motions when presented with an opening. Suletta is able to unlock the Aerial to higher Permet Score levels than other Gundam pilots, including levels not thought possible like six and seven, but also showing no visible side effects while doing so[16][17].
It is later revealed that Suletta being able to operate the Aerial without side effects was actually because Ericht Samaya, whose mind was put inside the Gundam as its control system, was absorbing the strain instead[6]. However, as noted by Belmeria Winston, while Suletta lacks Ericht's ability to perfectly syncronize with Gundams, their nearly identical genetics does give her a natural resistance to the strain and she is able to operate on Permet Score 5 on her own for an extended period[18]. However, she will eventually succumb to the side effects if left active for too long, and she was shown to still be in rehab years later[5].
Having spent most of her childhood growing up isolated on Mercury, Suletta was provided with many forms of entertainment which included the Mobile Suit Combat Simulator, which she started at age 4 and soon grew skilled at, only bested by her mother. When she was 11, she gained much experience with piloting mobile suits to the point of handling many rescue operations on Mercury[19].
Suletta is also physically strong, as she is able to maintain her stamina and dexterity when running even in low-gravity environments[12] and is able to lift up and carry others to rescue them from danger[13]. In addition, aside from her piloting skill, she is also a skilled fencer, capable of outdueling Guel[18]. In terms of academics, however, Suletta lacks knowledge of several foundational concepts not related to piloting, but she remains determined to learn and improve as best she can [9].

History
Life on Mercury
Suletta was one of the repli-children cloned from Ericht Samaya [1]. However, in the official records, she had a deceased father [4][11]. As indicated when Aliya Mahvash told her fortune, she was told that he had died when she was very young [15].
At six years old, Suletta visited Gundam Aerial, scared of the emergency lights. Entering Aerial's cockpit, Suletta distracted herself by playing shooting games with Aerial, in which only her mother had a higher score. Aerial noted that she only came to do this when their mom was busy with work [19].
At nine years old, Suletta visited Aerial crying. Having been bullied by one of the old men from Mercury. Aerial noted that Suletta and their mother escaped to Mercury, but were not exactly welcomed. Sad, Suletta asked Aerial about Earth, prompting Aerial to show her the media library, with Suletta taking the opportunity to watch her favorite anime. Aerial thought that all those pieces of media she has, all set on the Earth Sphere, allow Suletta to forget about Mercury [19].
After watching an episode of her favorite anime, Suletta whispered to herself "If you run you gain one, but if you move forward, you gain two". Aerial recalled how Suletta learned those words: once when she was younger, Suletta was scared of an injection, but her mom taught her that expression. She explained that the "one" gained from running would be the lack of pain, but the "two" gained from moving forward were not getting sick, being seen as amazing by the people of Mercury, and even that the shots would no longer be painful in the future. Since that day, Suletta used those words to calm her fears, almost as a spell. Aerial noted that those words probably work the same for their mom, as a spell to calm her fears [19].
At eleven years old, Suletta climbed into Aerial's cockpit; an accident had occurred. Aerial noted that they've saved the lives of people in Mercury countless times, and called themselves the best team in Mercury. Thanks to their help the people there had treated them less harshly. Urged by Melissa Peluda, Aerial and Suletta rushed to the last known position of the pilot, Ergo Peluda. Aerial noted that he was the leader of the people that still treated Suletta harshly [19].
Suletta reassured Melissa that they would rescue Ergo, with Aerial thinking that Suletta was a good girl. Suletta and Aerial arrived at the accident site, and found Ergo within a cave-in. Noting that the Mobile Craft could not be salvaged, Suletta used a beam saber to cut him out, lowering the output to avoid hurting him, with Aerial musing about Suletta's precision, comparing it to that of a skilled surgeon. Retrieving him, Aerial quickly returned to base, with Suletta using a beam rifle to blast shortcuts back in order to arrive at Chao Meng-Fu base before his oxygen ran out [19].
Upon reaching the base, Suletta was greeted by her mom, appearing on a large screen, telling her how proud she is of her, smiling. Aerial noted that she herself felt good when their mom smiled, as if she met the expectations. Their mom told Suletta that she would celebrate Suletta's birthday twice over, to compensate for missing her last birthday. This was the last time Suletta celebrated her birthday with her mom [19].
At eleven years old, she rarely saw her mother any more. Suletta asked Aerial what school's like, but Aerial couldn't answer. Suletta noted that she'd like to go to school, wondering if it would be similar to how they were depicted in those comic books she'd read. Aerial noted that those are fictional and outdated. Suletta was lonely because there's no one else her age on Mercury. Aerial thought that they couldn't go to the Earth Sphere, since their mother had been branded as a Witch, and if anyone found out that she was a Gundam she'd be destroyed, but promised that even if she didn't go to school or have friends she'd always be with her. Suletta confides in Aerial that if she ever go to school, they'd go together [19].
One day, at the age of sixteen, Suletta was sleeping, having tired herself out talking to her mom, who visited for the first time in a while. At that time, their mother visited Aerial in the , telling her about an opportunity, with the Asticassia School of Technology having mobile suit duels, and the winner of them winning Delling Rembran's only daughter's hand in marriage. Their mother continued, saying that they would go to that school and Aerial would act as Suletta's sword in their scheme for revenge. Aerial begged and pleaded to her mother to not involve Suletta, that Aerial and her can do it on their own, but she could not be heard [19].
The next day, an excited Suletta visited Aerial and told her that she will go to school, as arranged by their mother, for the benefit of bettering Mercury. Aerial wanted to tell her about their mother's plans but could not go against her. However Suletta's excitement suddenly turned to anxiety; as she has only ever been on Mercury and never had human friends or had to study, she began to doubt her capability and feared that she would fail school and cause more problems for her mother. Aerial silently encouraged this, hoping to have her avoid being her mother's tool, urging her to run away. As if she heard her, Suletta declared that "if you run, you gain one, but if you move forward, you gain two", noting that she'd gain more than two if she went to school, learning, gaining friends, dating, and more. Impressed by Suletta's growth, Aerial agreed that it's better to look at what there was to gain, even if the circumstances behind it were due to their mother's machinations.
Suletta promised that they'll be fine together, to which Aerial agreed since they're family [19].
A.S. 122
Finally arriving in Asticassia School of Technology, Suletta admired the school from outer space in a transport vessel. Her excitement is cut short after witnessing a lone person in a normal suit, suspended in space. She abruptly attempts a one-sided rescue endeavor, piloting the Aerial. After taking Miorine into her cockpit, Suletta's rescue attempt is met with scorn, by an angered Miorine who blamed Suletta for jeopardizing her escape attempt to Earth.
Later, she tours the school campus alone, before meeting Nika Nanaura. Suletta also has an awkward reunion with Miorine, before observing a sanctioned duel between a student and Guel Jeturk. An arrogant Guel mindlessly presses his opponent, forcing both away from dueling grounds and closer to the spectators. Miorine is forced to save a dumbfounded Suletta from being collateral damage.
A thankful Suletta follows Miorine into her greenhouse, before being made privy to her forced engagement to Guel and the Holder System in Asticassia; an ironclad rule made by her father Delling Rembran. Their conversation is cut short by Guel, who aimed to take a defiant Miorine by force. Suletta protested against Guel's actions and he jokingly asks if she wanted a duel, as duels are used to decide between right and wrong in the school. Despite lacking confidence, Suletta agrees, in which an initially confused Guel accepts.
First Duel
The duel is witnessed by Elan Ceres, Shaddiq Zenelli, Secelia Dote and Rouji Chante. As the duel began, it is revealed that Miorine is the pilot, having linked piloting permissions of the Aerial to herself without Suletta's consent or knowledge. She did not fare well against Guel and his Dilanza, due to her inexperience in piloting a mobile suit. The tides of the battle would be turned, as Suletta shortly retakes control of the Aerial, while protesting that Aerial is her family and will not lose so easily to Guel. An agitated Guel gave Shaddiq the greenlight to swap opponents.
Suletta having taken the helm, the true power of Aerial is displayed, as its GUND-Bits deploy and form a shield, blocking the Dilanza's beam attacks. Guel would overextend himself, having vastly underestimated the Aerial's capabilities. The Dilanza having a tactical disadvantage, the GUND-Bits' split into its individual bits and unleashed a multitude of beam attacks. Guel's Dilanza is swiftly dispatched and Suletta is crowned the victor. As this victory was achieved against the current holder, Suletta becomes the new holder and simultaneously, Miorine's fiance; shocking the former.
Arrested and Rematch
The front management company would immediately arrive and arrest of Suletta Mercury, due to the Aerial exhibiting characteristics strikingly similar to a cursed mobile suit forbidden since the Vanadis Incident; its permet influx values having exceeded the standards. Aerial is confiscated and Suletta is brought to the head office to be questioned by a front management officer. The results of the duel is null and voided by Vim Jeturk's request. Suletta is visited in her holding cell by Enhanced Person Number 4, who has developed an interest in her, a potential witch, possibly having the same circumstances as him.
A second duel would be set up, due to Miorine stepping in during the Benerit Group's inquiry of Aerial, insisting that the final evaluation should follow the dueling policy of the school. Suletta is released but would be pitted against Jeturk Heavy Machinery's latest model, the MD-004 Darilbalde. Suletta makes friends with an enthusiastic Nika, who was highly interested in her mobile suit, but encounters a taunting Guel and members of the Jeturk House. She sneakily runs off at the sound of the school bell.
After Suletta and Guel swore their oath in front of the Dueling Commitee, their duel would begin with Guel having an advantage due to the Darilbalde's Decision Making AI. In addition, the dueling arena's heat management system's excessive spraying of water hampered the potency of Aerial's beam weapons. its control system would then be destroyed by Miorine. With the water disabled, the Aerial would claim its advantage using its GUND-Bits; the Darilbalde's AI's lack of experience against swarm weapons, unintentionally handicapping Guel. After Guel disabled the AI in anger, he would fight on almost equal footing against Suletta for a short period, but victory would still go to Suletta, thanks to well-timed beam saber attack.
Straight after the duel, Suletta confessed to Guel that he was strong and that she made a mistake of underestimating him, but is met with a proposal from Guel, who was touched by her acknowledgment of his strength, much to everyone's shock, including Suletta who rejects him. By the next day, however, Guel apologizing to Miorine as agreed, while insisting that he denies loving Suletta.
Suletta then tries to take a mobile suit exam but fails because she lacks support from a House. Meanwhile, Chuatury Panlunch from Earth House also attempts the exam but is hindered by bullies who spray her mobile suit's camera. ChuChu harbors resentment towards Spacians due to the discrimination Earthians face. When Suletta seeks help from Earth House, ChuChu drives her away. Miorine, however, agrees to help Suletta, who shares her dream of starting a school on Mercury. The next day, both Suletta and ChuChu retake the exam, but the same bullies have blinded Suletta's mobile suit, and the proctors refuse to let Miorine clean it. After several failed attempts, Suletta breaks down, prompting ChuChu to confront the bullies, leading to a fight that forces the exam to be postponed. Eventually, with some reluctance, ChuChu accepts Suletta, allowing her to join the Earth House.
Confrontation with Elan
Due to Peil Technologies' continued interests in the Gundam Aerial, Elan Ceres was sent as a proxy to gather information about the Aerial. To this end, Suletta is asked out on a date by Elan. They eventually entered the Aerial's cockpit where Elan continuously probed her about her mobile suit. Elan requested Suletta to let him test out the Aerial to which she agreed. Elan lost interest in Suletta after realizing Suletta was not an enhanced person with the same cursed fate as him, that the machine itself helped alleviate the burden of permet influx for Suletta. She would receive negative treatment from Elan as he realized Suletta is nothing like him. Suletta is saddened by Elan's change in attitude towards her, with Guel arriving just in time to see her reaction. Just then, Elan challenges Guel to a duel.
Unveiling the FP/A-77 Gundam Pharact, Elan would crush Guel's Dilanza, successfully meeting the criteria to duel Suletta next. The Earth House having witnessed the previous duel, decided that Suletta would need a flight unit to match the mobility of the Pharact. Suletta is introduced to the spare parts that would go into making the needed equipment, but shared doubts regarding the condition of the spare parts. Chuchu insists on trusting Nika, although it is made clear the costs of putting together the flight unit from scratch would put the finances of the Earth house in a tight deficit. Suletta went on a test spin with the Aerial and the newly assembled Mirasoul Flight Unit. Afterwards, she visits Peil House and confronts Elan, wanting to talk to him for a second time. He refuses, but eventually relents after Suletta sings happy birthday to him.
Suletta decided on her stake of the duel, which is to have Elan tell her more about himself. During the duel, she is soon impressed by the performance of her new flight unit, enabling her to fight on relatively equal grounds with Elan. Suletta pays witness to Elan's continued agitation as he vented while dueling. He raises his permet score and deploys his GUND-Bits. While he experienced initial success in disabling one of Suletta's GUND-Bit, two of his would be destroyed by Suletta in a counterattack. Both machines would pass the dueling border, with Suletta gaining an advantage as Elan suffers the from a data storm. Suletta successfully destroyed the Pharact's sniper rifle, but Elan destroys the left wing of her flight unit. With the Aerial stranded with little mobility, Elan drew in for a finishing blow. However, his GUND-Bits and mobile suit are disabled when the Aerial responded with an Override. Temporarily linked with the Aerial, Elan witnessed the digitised ghosts of Ericht Samaya and is forced to watch helplessly as the Aerial's GUND-Bits mercilessly dismembers the Pharact and strikes his blade antenna.
Suletta won the duel and remarked that she could hear more of Aerial's voice. She rushes to the cockpit of the Pharact, apologizing to him. Suletta then shares a heartfelt moment with Elan, declaring he has at least one person that would celebrate his birthday for him.
Incubation Party
After Elan did not arrive for their planned meetup, Suletta was saddened at not knowing where he was. When Miorine tried to get her to focus on gardening, Suletta asked if Miorine if she ever worried about anyone else, and Suletta was disappointed when she said no. After receiving a notification about the Incubation and learning that the Three Branches will be there, including Peil Technologies, Suletta insists on attending the party to find Elan. Miorine lends Suletta one of her dresses and accompanies her with Nika and Martin [20].
Suletta's dress gets soiled by accident, to which the real Elan Ceres appeared, offering her a napkin; Enhanced Person 4 having been disintegrated due to his failure in obtaining the Aerial. She continued talking to Elan, completely unaware that the Elan she knew was already gone, and that she was talking to an imposter. Suletta is baited into appearing on stage with Elan, alongside the chairpersons of Peil Technologies. As the true nature of the Pharact was revealed, Peil would simultaneously expose Suletta's mobile suit for using the GUND-Format, by sharing details of the phenomenon experienced by both mobile suits in their previous duel.
In a desperate attempt to save Suletta and the Gundam Aerial, Miorine interrupts by proposing a new business plan, to combine both Peil and Shin Sei's development teams to form GUND-ARM, Inc, preventing unnecessary monetary loss and further market profitability of the Benerit Group. The proposal is initially dismissed, due to Miorine's lack of credibility and inexperience. Miorine begged to borrow the credibility of the Benerit Group President, Delling Rembran through his investment, in a last ditch effort. Her persuasion is successful, with other investors following suit, leading to the successful launching of GUND-ARM, Inc. Prospera admits to Suletta that Aerial is a Gundam, much to her shock.
GUND-ARM,Inc.
Soon after the establishment of GUND-ARM, Inc., Suletta arrived in Earth House along with Miorine, who announced her forceful setup and hiring of the Earth house. They later met with Prospera, who gives Miorine past data of the Aerial. Suletta questions why Aerial's identity as a Gundam was hidden from her, but Prospera skillfully deflects the enquiry. On their way back to Asticassia, Miorine later asks why Suletta has zero curiosity as to how she does not suffer any drawbacks from piloting a supposedly cursed machine, but Suletta simply remarks that Aerial has always been family, unaffected by the revelation of Aerial's true nature. Shaddiq who happened to be on the same flight, hops along, hoping to obtain information about Aerial from Suletta. Miorine quickly aborts attempt to take advantage of holder's naivety. After he leaves, excited by this Suletta shares her suspicion with Miorine that he might be in love with the latter, but Miorine questions this, considering him a treacherous person who is trying to manipulate her.
Suletta was present while the Earth House worked out the company's business plan and mission. While tasks were allocated, the discussion ultimately did not go well. Miorine, having acquired inspiration after talking to Belmeria Winston, chanced upon a video detailing the original ideals of GUND, the predecessor to the GUND-ARM. Suletta watches a GUND medical technology promotional video, ultimately establishing the new company's goals. Suletta would then work tirelessly with the Earth House to produce the company's first promotion video.
The company's soft launch left Suletta very satisfied, having enjoyed the fun experienced while struggling with the Earth House and Miorine. However, the career growth and peaceful life of two girls and their friends does not last long and would be cut short by a last minute addition of regulations, orchestrated by Shaddiq Zenelli. Suletta, along with members of the Earth House are forced into combat against members of the Grassley House, discussions having broken down as Miorine refused to accept Shaddiq's offer. As the Earth House does not have adequate pilots for the upcoming team battle, Suletta asks Guel for assistance, but he declined as his father has forbidden him from dueling.
During the team battle, Suletta was the vanguard, with members of the Earth House supporting in Zoworts lent by Belmeria Winston. However, they are quickly dispatched by Shaddiq's team, which consisted of his Michealis and multiple Beguir Pentes. Only Suletta remained after Chuchu's Demi Trainer is disabled by Ireesha Plano. As Shaddiq instigated Suletta to surrender, she instead reaffirmed her belief in Miorine. The Aerial however, is nevertheless cornered, and assaulted by "Antidote" attacks: Anti GUND-Format protection developed by Grassley. Having lost its permet link, Suletta is left to defend herself. Suletta having steeled her resolve for Miorine's sake, the Aerial responded, simultaneously attaining a Permet score of 6 for the very first time, rendering "Antidote" attacks useless, as it could only disrupt Permet scores of 3 and lower.[16] With the Aerial fully operational, Suletta swiftly destroyed a portion of the opposition. Victory would be achieved after a team effort destroyed the Michalis' blade antenna.
Attack on Planet Quetta
Two months after the establishment of Gund-Arm, Miorine has been actively promoting the company while Suletta and Earth House work on developing prosthetic legs. Miorine acquires a ship and recruits Feng Jun as a pilot, suspecting her true identity as an agent from the Space Assembly League tasked with monitoring GUND-ARM technology. As Miorine becomes more distant from Suletta, Peil Technologies introduces a new body double, Elan-05, to manipulate Suletta into revealing the secrets of the Aerial. However, Suletta senses something is off and rebuffs his advances. When Suletta arrives at Miorine's greenhouse, she inadvertently confronts two men, later identified as gardeners hired by Miorine. Miorine also discloses that she has employed Elan as a second test pilot for GUND, and after Suletta's encounter with him, she casually invites her to accompany her to retrieve the newly repaired Aerial from Plant Quetta. As Earth House makes its way to Plant Quetta, Suletta's insecurities deepen following her conversation with Miorine, prompting her to strive to prove her worth. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Prospera and Delling are collaborating on a clandestine project known as Quiet Zero. Suletta reaches out to her mother to express her concerns, but their conversation is interrupted by Miorine, who overhears and knocks on the bathroom door. After a brief chase, Suletta confides her fears to Miorine, admitting that her personal motto does not always alleviate her anxieties. In response, Miorine erupts in frustration, lamenting how Suletta has become her groom and how that very motto has led her to abandon her plans to escape to Earth. She confesses that her life has significantly improved since meeting Suletta. Just then, however, the Earth-based mercenary group known as Dawn of Fold,, initiated an assault on Plant Quetta with the objective of assassinating Delling. Commanded by Gundam pilots Sophie Pulone and Norea du Noc, the group successfully detached a section of Plant Quetta from the main facility, effectively isolating Delling and separating Suletta from Miorine. Just then, however, Dawn of Fold, a Earth-based mercenary group, launches a attack on Plant Quetta to assassinate Delling. Led by Gundam pilots Sophie Pulone and Norea du Noc, they separate part of Plant Quetta from the main station, isolating Delling and separating Suletta and Miorine.
After a brief encounter with Sophie in the Gundam Lfrith Ur, Suletta discovers several Dawn of Fold troops preparing to capture Aerial. They nearly spot her, but Prospera intervenes, eliminating them. Initially shocked by the violence, Suletta finds comfort in her mother's familiar reassurances and resolves to fight for Miorine and their safety. She mobilizes the newly upgraded Aerial Rebuild, swiftly overpowering the two opposing Gundam pilots just as Dominicus forces arrive, prompting the Dawn of Fold to retreat. Suletta then sets out to find Miorine, who is struggling to push her injured father on a stretcher when a terrorist confronts her. Just then, Aerial and Suletta burst onto the scene; when the assailant attempts to shoot Miorine and her father, Suletta decisively crushes him with the Gundam's palm, killing him instantly. As she exits Aerial, she stumbles and apologizes to Miorine for her clumsiness, seemingly unaware of the bloodshed surrounding her. Declaring her intent to rescue her bride, Suletta is met with Miorine's horrified gaze, who, shaken by the brutality she has just witnessed, accuses her groom of murder.
Post-Quetta and the Rumble Ring
Following the Plant Quetta incident, Suletta, under Elan-05's guidance, prepares for an upcoming open campus battle royale as the Holder, having successfully defended her title in previous matches. However, the members of Earth House remain haunted by their recent experiences, unable to fully engage in the event's atmosphere. Despite Suletta's reassurances that she and Aerial will protect them from potential threats, her upbeat demeanor stands in stark contrast to the others' somber mood. During a phone call with her mother, who is being questioned at Benerit HQ alongside Miorine, Suletta reflects on her actions against the terrorist who endangered Miorine and her father, questioning if she could have done more, but her mother affirms that she made the right choice.
Sophie Pulone and Norea du Noc, disguised as new students, infiltrate the school at Shaddiq's behest, with Sophie quickly bonding with Suletta as her "Big Sister." As the open campus unfolds, the duo is tasked with sabotaging the Pharact, but when Nika threatens to expose them, they attempt to silence her. Suletta intervenes to defend Nika, challenging Sophie to a duel, which she accepts, finding amusement in the idea of using killing machines for playful battles. Suletta counters with her vision of Gundams as tools for medical progress, while Sophie insists on proving them as mere instruments of violence. In a separate encounter, Prospera meets with Miorine to discuss the Quiet Zero project, urging her to continue its development.
Sophie expresses her desire for Suletta to become her true big sister and part of her family if she wins their duel. This proposition makes Suletta uneasy, especially considering her upcoming marriage to Miorine and her vow not to lose. As Suletta and students from various Houses engage in a battle royale, Sarius observes the event. However, chaos ensues when Norea and Sophie arrive with their Gundams and a swarm of unmanned Gundvolva drones, resulting in injuries and fatalities among the participants and panic among the spectators. Nika attempts to report them but is stopped by Grassley House, which uses the attack as a distraction to abduct Sarius. In the midst of the turmoil, Sophie confronts Suletta, pushing her and Aerial out of the Front. Sophie vents her frustrations about her past as a destitute orphan, while Suletta struggles to articulate that her longing for love cannot justify the violence, only to be reminded of her own act of murder in defense of Miorine.
Outside the Front, Sophie becomes increasingly agitated as she confronts Suletta, who struggles to align her own beliefs with the harsh realities Sophie highlights about Aerial. As Sophie passionately expresses her ambitions and plans for when she defeats Suletta, Aerial activates her data storm ability, disabling the Lfrith Ur and seizing control of its Gundvolvas. In the midst of this chaos, Sophie fights to maintain control of Ur's GUND, but the truth dawns on her, a revelation that Prospera shares with Belmeria: Aerial is not just a machine; it houses the consciousness of Prospera's first daughter, Ericht Samaya. This explains why Aerial protects Suletta from the data storm's side effects — Ericht takes it instead.
Ericht seizes control of the Aerial's GUND-Format, disabling Sophie's Gundam and her drones. Despite this, Sophie stands her ground, but the toll of piloting her Gundam ultimately leads to her demise. Suletta stumbles upon Sophie's lifeless body just before Norea arrives, and in an attempt to ease Suletta's guilt, she reminds her that Sophie fell victim to the Gundam's curse before Suletta could take her life—a fate that Suletta will inevitably face. However, seeing Suletta unscathed prompts Norea to question her true nature. As Suletta grapples with the chaos around her, Aerial reassures her that she has safeguarded Nika, Miorine, and the school, echoing her mother's words: "Move forward, gain two."
Reunion with Miorine and the Final Duel
Earth House endures relentless bullying from their peers, who unjustly associate them with a recent attack, despite being exonerated. Miorine returns to Earth House, where she and Suletta awkwardly address the incident at Plant Quetta. Miorine starts by apologizing for her initial reaction to Suletta's violent rescue of her and her father, but she soon feels disturbed by Suletta's continued light-heartedness about the event. Realizing the overwhelming influence her mother has over her, Miorine confronts Prospera about her manipulation of Suletta. However, she is quickly silenced when Prospera reveals the horrors of the Vanadis massacre, leading Miorine to feel pressured into joining Quiet Zero and running for the Benerit Group presidency. After some reluctance, she agrees, under the condition that Prospera will no longer involve Suletta, though Prospera insists on needing Aerial for her plans and proposes a final duel with Suletta.
The following morning, Miorine asks Suletta if she would be willing to give up Aerial, but Suletta firmly declines, emphasizing her bond with her Gundam. With Miorine's birthday approaching, Suletta suggests celebrating, and Miorine reluctantly agrees to consider it. Meanwhile, Elan-05 confronts Suletta, demanding Aerial, but Guel, recently returned from captivity, intervenes and drives him away. Guel confides in Suletta about his troubles, but she turns down his feelings. Overhearing their exchange, Miorine persuades Guel to challenge Suletta to a duel, offering to marry him and assist his company if he wins, with the stakes being ownership of Aerial.
Despite the trauma of his father's death, Guel ultimately triumphs winning the duel when the Aerial malfunctions after reaching the Gund-Format level necessary for Quiet Zero, a result of the virus that Prospera and Miorine had implanted. Following the duel, Miorine confronts a shocked Suletta in her cockpit, discloses her act of sabotage, and strips Suletta of her title as Holder, leaving her cries in anguish.
After losing her ownership of Aerial, her rank as Holder, and her engagement to Miorine, Suletta tries to cope by concentrating on her studies and putting on a cheerful front. However, her friends in the Earth House notice that she is suppressing her emotions and decide to take her to meet Miorine to address the situation. Meanwhile, with Shaddiq leading the election polls and Guel facing challenges in rebuilding his company, Miorine chooses to campaign for a peaceful resolution to the Earthian riots. As Suletta continues to care for Miorine's greenhouse, Chuchu expresses her frustrations about Miorine's actions, while Suletta remains silent, blaming herself for everything, including her feelings for Miorine. Lauda arrives with Felsi and Petra, further undermining Suletta's self-esteem. Just as Chuchu is about to confront Lauda, he unexpectedly thanks her for saving his life during the Rumble Ring, catching her off guard. Frustrated by Suletta's agreement with Lauda, Chuchu decides to take her to confront Miorine directly.
Gathering the remaining members of Earth House, they set off for Benerit HQ, leaving Martin behind to oversee the dormitory. Upon their arrival, they face challenges in arranging a meeting with Miorine. Meanwhile, Prospera and Aerial deceive Suletta into entering the hangar under the pretense of a request from Miorine. Once aboard Aerial, Suletta flies outside the Front with her, expressing her happiness at being reunited, but her happiness quickly turns to sadness as she laments her inability to enjoy school without Miorine. As she becomes enveloped in Aerial's data storm, she experiences a vision of a fragmented Lfrith, where Ericht appears and reveals her true identity as Aerial by recalling a shared childhood memory. The "Children of the Coven," representing Eri's extended consciousness, then confront Suletta, explaining that she was the "Key" used to control Aerial during the development of her Permet Network. Despite Suletta's protests, they declare their independence from her, with Eri using the data storm to painfully awaken a suppressed memory of the day she "died" and transformed into the Gundam, asserting that she no longer requires a pilot after reaching Score 8. Aerial coldly tells Suletta she must let go of her ties to both her and Prospera, ultimately ejecting her into the void of space. Prospera arrives just in time to rescue her, confirming Eri's revelations, and leaves Suletta with a beacon, instructing her to return to school while she boards Aerial to meet Miorine's shuttle on its way to Earth. Alone and adrift, Suletta cries out into the emptiness of space, feeling abandoned and purposeless.
Attack on Asticassia
Abandoned by her family, Suletta has sunk into a deep depression, isolating herself in her bunk and refusing to eat, attend classes, or discuss the events at Benerit HQ. Concerned for her well-being, her friends from Earth House eventually manage to coax her into opening up, while Martin reveals his findings about Nika. As Suletta defends Nika, Chuchu grapples with her own mixed feelings. Meanwhile, on Earth, Miorine works to halt the escalating riots, and Guel encounters a boy from his past as a prisoner of the Dawn of Fold, who inadvertently discloses Shaddiq's ties to them. This revelation drives Guel back to Asticassia in search of evidence. However, chaos ensues when Prospera goes off-script, using the Aerial to hack Earthian weapons, which then fire upon Spacians, leading to a swift retaliation and the collapse of negotiations. Amidst the turmoil, she seizes the opportunity to destroy a secret Gundam factory operated by the Space Assembly League, which had plans to suppress the Benerit Group. Mistaking the destruction of the Ochs Earth bunker for an attack, protestors ignite another riot, and despite orders to remain calm, Benerit Security forces panic and return fire. Miorine's desperate pleas for peace fall on deaf ears as protest leaders abandon the scene, feeling betrayed. Later, Suletta watches the violence unfold on a broadcast, realizing that Ericht distanced herself to protect Suletta, while Miorine wrestles with guilt over Prospera's actions.
Suletta has returned to her classes but struggles to focus, overwhelmed by messages blaming her and Miorine for recent events. After class, Petra approaches her, expressing gratitude for Suletta's role in saving Lauda during the Rumble Ring and sharing her notes. Meanwhile, Guel heads back to Asticassia in search of evidence against Shaddiq but is intercepted by Grassley House, who are trying to relocate Sarius. Shaddiq has released Elan-05, Nika, and Norea, and Norea goes on a destructive rampage with her Gundam and drones, seeking revenge for the Earth Attack. This chaos leads to many of Suletta's classmates being injured or killed. Petra urges Suletta to escape with her, and they manage to rescue two unconscious students, but a nearby explosion causes the building to collapse on them. When Suletta regains consciousness in the wreckage, she is devastated to find Petra trapped beneath the debris. Later, Guel defeats Shaddiq, leading to the arrest of Grassley House and the rescue of Sarius, while Earth House discovers Suletta tirelessly digging through the rubble alone, prompting them to join her in the search for survivors.
Quiet Zero
Following Shaddiq's arrest, Miorine has been appointed as the new president of the Benerit Group, while Prospera remains unaccounted for. In a surprising turn, Peil Technologies exposes the conglomerate's various crimes, providing the Space Assembly League with a justification to dismantle them. As Miorine grapples with this crisis, Prospera reemerges with the nearly finished Quiet Zero, a formidable space station armed with Ericht-controlled Gundnode drones that wreak havoc on the League's fleet, leaving Miorine to regret her involvement in the weapon's development. Meanwhile, at Asticassia, recovery efforts continue amidst the devastation, with displaced students residing in makeshift refugee camps. Suletta does her part by distributing blankets to those in need, prompting Secelia to note a change in her demeanor, which Suletta acknowledges. She has been contacted by Guston Parche and Belmeria Winston, who brief her on Quiet Zero and urge her to persuade her mother to reconsider her plans. However, Suletta doubts her ability to sway Prospera, revealing her awareness of the Vanadis Incident and her identity as a repli-child, accepting that her well-being has always been secondary to her mother's ambitions. Guston proposes that Suletta pilot a captured Gundam from the Vanadis Incident, specifically the Gundam Calibarn. Despite Belmeria's warning about the mobile suit lacking safety features, Suletta agrees, eager to confront her mother and sister, with Earth House and Elan-05 joining her in the endeavor.
Reconciliation with Miorine
Suletta is eager to speak with Miorine before piloting the Gundam, but Guel intercepts her, asserting that he won't let Miorine go since she is now his fiancée. Hearing about Suletta's desire for a heartfelt conversation, they agree to a duel, if Suletta loses, she must completely reject Miorine. The duel is brief, and Suletta wins, prompting Guel to return her Holder Uniform and guide her to Miorine. When they finally reunite, Suletta reassures Miorine, who is paralyzed by the fear of making mistakes, emphasizing that their meeting is not a mistake and encouraging her to accept the past and move forward. Miorine eventually agrees to join Suletta in flying to Earth after the conflict with Quiet Zero is resolved. In a touching moment, Suletta shares a tomato with Miorine, revealing that Rouji found the cultivar's name and that Miorine's mother left a message in its genetic code. They promise to grow more tomatoes together, symbolizing their renewed bond.
Attack on Quiet Zero
With Quiet Zero headed toward the headquarters to acquire components to expand its range, Earth House and the Group make a counter-strategy: since only Gundams can resist Quiet Zero's hacking, Suletta will serve as a distraction while Earth House infiltrates the space station.
Suletta and Miorine test the Calibarn, aiming to surpass the Permet Score of 5. After some difficulty, Suletta, with Miorine's encouragement, successfully reaches the threshold, much to her relief. As the Calibarn breaches the field, it surprises Prospera. Despite the challenges of piloting, Suletta engages several Gundnodes, easily keeping them at bay. She then confronts Aerial Rebuild and Eri, urging them to stop their plans and meet their mother and sister again. The battle begins, with Suletta dodging Aerial's GUND-Bits while pleading with Eri to abandon their mother's plan. Eri, however, refuses and prepares to attack, surrounding the Demi Barding with Gundnodes to threaten Miorine and the crew. Just as she is about to strike, an unexpected presence within Quiet Zero's data storm disrupts her, shutting down the Gundnodes and allowing the Demi Barding to move forward. Eri is left questioning the source of the interference, while Prospera attempts to confront the intruders but is disarmed by Elan-05. Meanwhile, Miorine exploits a backdoor in Quiet Zero's systems, shutting it down entirely. With Quiet Zero disabled, the Space Assembly League launches their super weapon at the station. In response, Eri quickly deploys the remaining Gundnodes to intercept the blast, successfully dissipating it. In the aftermath, Suletta is shocked to find Aerial seemingly destroyed, leaving Prospera horrifically shocked.
Despite beginning to succumb to the strain of piloting the Calibarn, Suletta brings the remains of Aerial to Quiet Zero, where her mother, Prospera, who has captured Earth House, urges her to reinstall Ericht. Despite her mother's insistence and her own wish to save Ericht, Suletta chooses to establish the connection on her own to thwart Prospera's plans. As she struggles to link with Quiet Zero, the spirit of Elan Ceres 04 appears, revealing that his genetic data is stored within Quiet Zero, making him akin to Ericht. With Elan's assistance, Suletta manages to awaken Ericht, who is moved by her determination. Together, they combine Aerial's GUND-Bits with Calibarn, achieving a higher Permet Score that disrupts all communication across the Earth Sphere, enabling Miorine to announce the dissolution and liquidation of Benerit Group, a decision made in collaboration with Shaddiq, which undermines the Space Assembly League's justification for intervention. When the League chairman attempts to destroy Quiet Zero regardless, Suletta takes control of the Pharact and Schwarzette, using the combined power of the four Gundams to disable the League's super-weapon. Within the data storm, Prospera experiences a vision of her loved ones from Vanadis, urging her to return to her children. Suletta confronts her mother, expressing pride in her and supporting her choice to prioritize Ericht's future over revenge. Ericht joins them, expressing her desire to stay with Suletta and Prospera, who tearfully apologizes to her daughters. As Quiet Zero and the Gundams begin to dissolve into Permet particles, leaving Suletta floating alone in space, where she is found by Miorine.
Three years later, GUND-ARM Inc. has flourished, and Miorine has become a negotiator between Earth and Space. Miorine and Earth House then meet up with Suletta, who is now married to the former and living peacefully with Prospera and Ericht, whose consciousness was transferred into a mechanical keychain, while undergoing rehab and vying to establish her own school.
