Sarius chairs a Benerit Group meeting in the absence of Delling. After the wreckage of the Pharact is analyzed, Nugen acknowledges it is a Gundam. Vim finds her despicable for breaching the Agreement so casually. Sarius wants Peil Technologies to cooperate in a plan to learn what Delling has up his sleeve—this is an opportunity they'll never see again.

At the greenhouse, Suletta's mind wanders while attempting to clip tomatoes off of vines. Miorine scolds her in case she hurts the tomatoes. Suletta apologizes, she is worried about Elan as he did not turn up, nor has he been at school since then. Miorine brings up her habit of butting into other people's problems and worrying without being asked. Miorine has never done that; she only thinks about getting out of this place and going to Earth. Miorine reminds Suletta that if her mind is always elsewhere, she'll fail the exam again.

An notification appears on Suletta's student notebook; it is the incubation event party invitation & application guidelines. Miorine has also recieved the same notification but declines it. She explains that it is a social party for people among the group companies but as far as students, only those from the three branches will be going. As the Holder, if Suletta goes there, they'll force her to make a speech on stage. From the fact that the three branches are going, Suletta enthusiatically infers that Mr. Elan will come, too.

Martin and Nika attend the event as Suletta's guests, they wear flowers on their school uniforms and stand on the stairs, in awe at the mobile suits being displayed; variants of the Dilanza, Hendree Sturm, Demi Trainer and Zowort. Miorine arrives wearing a blue dress, stating that everything there is just for show. Suletta also arrives, wearing a gold tiara. She has borrowed a red dress from Miorine (hence it is pretty tight on the bust). Miorine slaps her on the back for her bad posture. Miorine notes she could have lent Nika a dress too but Nika and Martin just came along out of curiosity and didn't really know what to expect. Nika takes a look at the MSJ-121 Demi Trainer (YOASOBI Collaboration Ver.).

The hall darkens. Miorine explains that the incubation party is an event to promote new business startups. People who want to start a new project within the group announce their plans here and solicit investment. If they reach their target amount, then a glorious new business is born. Tengriff Solutions are currently on stage soliciting investment for their Integrated Fire Control Software for autotrajectory correction with a goal of 100 million. Miorine predicts that no one will buy into their presentations because their concepts are too old-fashioned. She is correct as they only reach 58% of their goal. Nika is impressed and says its no wonder she's the top student in management stratergy but Miorine takes it as sarcasm. The presentation ends and the group goes to search for Elan.

Spying on them through a camera are Peil Technologies. Elan Ceres complains to the CEOs as he has to clean up after that Enhanced Person. Golneri explains that the next test subject isn't ready yet and Nevola believes it's best they leave this to the real Elan. The adult guests stare and gossip about Suletta whom they know as the latest groom candidate and a witch. Carrying a cocktail glass, Miorine tells Suletta to never mind them and to just behave confidently. Suletta hesitates so Miorine raises her voice when telling Suletta to stand up straight. They are greeted by Shaddiq, who has tied up his hair for the party. He guesses they are there because of interest in in new business ventures and asks Miorine for advice about the presentations. Miorine presumes Shaddiq's joking because he already won a contract for Four Card Sector 17. Seeing their exchange, Suletta thinks the two are friends. Miorine denies it but Shaddiq says they used to see each other a lot at these events. Miorine embarrasses Suletta by stating her reason for attending to be wanting to talk to Elan face-to-face. Shaddiq sees this as a sign that Miorine has changed, as he wouldn't have known her to act for another person's sake before.

Prospera finds her daughter at the party. She is there with Godoy, having finished work earlier than expected. She compliments Suletta's dress. Suletta introduces the one who loaned it to her, Miorine, to her mother. Prospera was impressed by what Miorine did at the inquiry and repeats the words she said to Delling. Of the opinion that Shin Sei owe Aerial's approval to Miorine, Prospera shakes her hand. Suletta is surprised to learn her mother had already met Miorine. In order to speak to Miorine alone, she asks Suletta to bring her something drink. Prospera's grip tightens and asks Miorine if its always been that way between her and her father. Prosopera lets go passes the question off as merely wanting to get along with the bride's family.

Prospera sits down. She thinks the man responsible for suppressing the Vanadis Incident 21 years ago, and most of all, the hero who banned the Gundams would make a splendid father. To Miorine, however, that glory's all that glory's all in the past; her generation knows nothing of Gundams. Prospera is curious as to what's unforgivable about Delling. Miorine's grievances are him always looks down on he and making decisions without consulting her (reminding Prosopera of the inquiry). Recalling her standing next to her mother's casket as a child with her father being distant, she loudly declares no matter what, she will never accept a man like that as her father. Prospera giggles as the lights dim for another presentation and lists various things Miorine has because her father is the president of the Benerit Group; her dress, high heels and accessories, that she can live in the Chairman's office rather than a House and the respect she receives from others. The lights brighten, and Prospera apologizes for any offense caused. Touching Miorine's chin, she tells the dear "daughter of President Delling" to throw away that adorable pride,

Suletta has fallen on the floor, having broken some glasses. Lauda scoffs that his brother could fall for such an "oafish woman". He receives a call from his father to do as he instructed. Covered in droplets, Suletta has no idea what to do. Elan reaches out to give her a handkerchief. Delling and Rajan exit an elevator, greeted by Sarius.

Chefs carve meat for a buffet line but Nika is not sure what to choose. Shaddiq places a plate on her tray for her and so she thanks him, Shaddiq remarks that he is the one who owes her thanks. Martin eats, noticing them together.

Elan gives Suletta her flower back. She nervously apologizes, not for he handkerchief as the thinks, but becuase he didn't show up the other day and didn't contact her. He states he's been wanting to apologize to her all this time. He attributes his absence to Peil company business; the front he went to was apparently affected by strong magnetic storms. Thus, he humbly apologizes for worrying Suletta. When asked by Suletta, He assures her that he'll return to school. Suletta also notices he smiles now. He holds his expression while averting eye contact with Suletta. He stands up and offers to take her to the stage to so she can give her speech as Holder.

Having been separated from Suletta, Miorine rendezvous with Nika and Martin to find her. The hall dims for a presentation by the CEOs of Peil Technologies who rise from beneath the stage. Nugen introduces two students who emerge from the center of the stage on a pillared platform. Nevola describes Elan Ceres, as the pilot of the Pharact, the mobile suit that is their pride and joy. Kal describes Suletta Mercury as the pilot who so impressively defeated the Pharact in a recent duel and the current Holder. Suletta stutters at first but recalls Miorine's words earlier to stand up straight. As someone from Mercury, she is to learn many new things at the school and considers every day to be fufilling, she pledges to continue to to her best in her studies, a declaration that awards he applause from the audience. The various CEOs ask Suletta about her mobile suit, with their faces zoomed in on the screen behind the two students. Suletta refers to Aerial as a family member, which Nugen finds to be a lovely sentiment. Nugen informs Suletta that Elan had told them that he felt a strange sensationduring his recent duel with her. Elan tells her directly that for a split second, he picked up a strange response—almost as if her machine and his had become entangled. Suletta remembers that she could hear Aerial's voice more than usual that day and confirms it.

Suletta is elevated on her own platform on an event taller pillar. Nugen judges that Shin Sei Development Corporation's mobile suit Aerial is a Gundam. The spotlights turn red. Elan plays along and appears shocked. Standing on their own pillars, each of the other Peil Technologies CEOs explain that their Pharact was using the GUND Format, it was revealed to them by reports from their internal auditor and the Dueling Committee. The phenomenon is the result of mutual interferrence between GUND Formats i.e. only Gundams respond to other Gundams, which means the Aerial is without a doubt, a Gundam. Suletta continues to deny it.

Vim Jeturk stands up and states through his phone that building and possessing a Gundam is against the Cathedra Agreement and asks how the Peile company will make amends for it. Nevola promises that they'll dispose of the Pharact and Golneri adds they'd also desolve the development team that produced it. Vim replies that Shin Sei should accept the same settlement.

Miorine realizes what they intend to do. Elan states that Suletta had no idea and believes it'd reasonable to let the develop explain, this prompts Suletta to call out her mom from the audience but she and Godoy are held up by Lauda to re-negotiate the deal she previously made with Vim.

With Prospera umable answer her daughter's cries, gossip erupts amongst the guests about the Aerial. Sarius states to Delling that the Benerit group can't overlook Gundam and requests his decision. Before Sarius can get an answer, Delling rise is interrupted by Miorine, who refuses the disposal of the Aerial.

Walking towards the stage, Miorine reminds the audience that the Aerial is a superior machine that defeated both the Jeturk and Peil companies (much to Vim's ire). Thus, destroying it would be a waste. Sarius asks Mistress Miorine why she's here, he declares it's because she's Suletta's bride. Sarius says she is misunderstanding the issue here; that an inhuman weapon that steals the lives of its pilots cannot be tolerated. Miorine notes the obvious; that Sueltta is alive and well. Sarius asks if there is an option other than disposal.

Miorine turns her student notebook's screen to the MC and requests a connection to be established. Based on past financial statements, Miorine estimates that after disposing of the Pharact and dissolving the development team responsible, Peil's loss will amount to 120 billion. She thus proposes twice that amount, 240 billion as the investment goal for my new business plan. They'll purchase Shin Sei's and Peil's development teams through M&A, then merge them together. A new company will be established, managed and operated with the protection of life as its top priority. Suletta whispers to her that the Aerial isn't a Gundam so she shuts her up and names the new company "GUND-ARM". Shaddiq laughs and Vim is enraged. Everyone gathered here wants a spark to reignite the Benerit Group's profitability. She and the company and will be responsible for bioethical issues and complying with the Agreement's restrictions. Miorine reasons that since investment is by anonymous contract, and it's independent from the group then there's no risk to anyone.

She asks for those who see value in this idea to invest in the establishment of GUND-ARM, Inc.

They wait, but Shaddiq correctly guesses that it's not good enough. Suletta sees percentage behind them still at zero. There is absolute silence from the audience who stare at their phones. When Miorine asks why (they won't invest), Delling speaks up, explaining the audience are all saying that there's no value in her proposal. No matter how big and lofty she may sound, she has absolutely no credibility to back it up. Elan concurs. Delling tells her daughter to get out for he has no further interest in indulging in a child's pride.

Miorine takes off her high heels and promises to protect Suletta. She runs off stage towards Delling, recalling that Prospera told her about pride. She stops before her father and catches her breath, proceeding the request his investment in her company; Delling had told her she lacked credibility so she wants to borrow his, as president of the Benerit Group. Delling states she can't run away; the Gundam's curse is a heavier burden than she thinks. After he leaves with Rajan. Miorine sees that her father has invested as the investment status has risen to 3%.

The audience members follow suit and invest. GUND-ARM Inc. succesfuly forms. Shaddiq applauds while Vim is in range. Sarius looks up at Delling and Rajan on their way out, commenting that he has accepted Gundams. Miorine thanks the audience. Outside, Propsera taunts Lauda.

Following the incubation party Martin comments that its too much, too fast. Prospera and Godoy approach to group. Prospera apologizes to Suletta and offers to shake Ms. Miorine Rembran's hand, believing that she's leaving her "daughters" in good hands. Miorine accepts the handshake. Still in denial, Suletta asks her mother if Aerial is not a Gundam. Propsera comes clean and apologizes for lying; the Aerial is indeed a Gundam. Suletta is in utter disbelief.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • With the exception of the title sequence, Guel Jeturk does not appear in this episode, marking his first non-appearance in the series.
  • This episode adds silhouettes of the Gundam Lfrith Ur and Gundam Lfrith Thorn behind Delling Rembran to the opening sequence.
  • A "YOASOBI Collaboration" version of the Demi Trainer can be seen at one of the displays for the Incubation Event Party.
    • This prompted the YOASOBI Demi Trainer to be a trending topic on Twitter. In acknowledgement of the mobile suit's anime debut, the YOASOBI_staff Twitter account updated their profile picture to a screenshot of it and their bio to their fictional counterparts' description in the manual[6].
  • The end card is drawn by Demizu Posuka [7][8].
    • The end card depicts Suletta and Mirione dancing together at the Incubation Party, though no such scene is included in the episode. This prompted the addition of a sequence of the two of them dancing together in dressed to the series' second closing title sequence, with Miorine wearing the same dress as in this episode.
