Serrana Karn (セラーナ・カーン Serāna Kān?) (alternatively, Selena Karn) is a character who first appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Advanced Operation video-game. She has also appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Deleted Affair: Portrait Of Young Comet manga, and its prequel, the One Day: H.D.A (Haman's Deleted Affair) publication for Gundam Ace, and later returns in Mobile Suit Gundam Walpurgis.

Personality & Characteristics[]

As Serrana she despises war and desires peace. She loves her family and upon the death of Haman she decided to transform herself into a Cyber Newtype with the personality of Haman Karn as she felt guilty for letting Haman shoulder the responsibility of leading Neo Zeon.

As Haman Karan she acted like Haman Karn due to the implanted personality. Upon returning to her old self she suffered a great mental break down upon realizing she tricked many people into following her and leading them to their death as Haman Karan. Eventually she finally accepted that Haman is gone and decided to lead a new Neo Zeon.

History[]

Serrana Karn is the third daughter of famed Zeon admiral, Maharaja Karn, and is the younger sister of Neo Zeon leader Haman Karn. She becomes Neo Zeon's foreign secretary, where she is a moderate on Axis. She is constantly at odds with the Neo Zeon hardliners in her attempts to end the internal strife within Neo Zeon. She attempted to contact the old AEUG for assistance. She escapes from Axis and boards the Pegasus-class vessel Il Nido incognito as a refugee under the alias "Jessica". She descends to Earth, where she later participates in battle as an MS pilot. She later goes missing in battle with Neo Zeon ace Gerald Sinclair.

Following Haman Karn's death, Serrana poses herself as Haman both in appearance and outfit, piloting Demeter. To achieve this she ask Loren Nakamoto to transform her a Cyber Newtype.
