The Seiran family is one of the five royal families of Orb. Contrary to the neutral stance advocated by Uzumi Nara Athha and his daughter, the Seirans are strongly sympathetic towards the Atlantic Federation, and manage to pressure Cagalli into allowing Orb to ally itself with the Atlantic Federation.

The most prominent known members of the Seiran family are Prime Minister Unato Ema Seiran and his son Yuna Roma Seiran, both are killed during the ZAFT attack on Orb in Operation Fury. Shortly after their deaths, Djibril used the Seiran family's shuttle to flee into space. It is unknown if they are affiliated with Logos.
