Scharnhort Buch, later known as Scharnhort Ronah, is the founder of the Buch Concern and father of Engeist Ronah and Meitzer Ronah, both of whom would later form the Crossbone Vanguard likely long after his death.

In U.C. 0055 Scharnhorst Buch would become the founder of the Buch Concern space salvage business. Years later in U.C. 0068 Scharnhorst would purchase the good name of the Ronah noble European family.
