Sars Sehm Ilia is a character introduced in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Δ Astray.

Sars was a calm pilot, but insecure about her abilities.[1][2] On the other hand, she also had a vengeful side of her.[3]

History[]
Sars was born to the Ilia family, one of the Orb Union's lower-class families. Once she was of age, Sars joined the Orb National Defense Force in an effort to improve her family's position in the Orb hierarchy.[1]
First Attack on the Acidalium[]
In December C.E. 73, a group of Martians came with the Acidalium to the Earth Sphere to check on the situation and to meet with representatives of all superpowers. After the group reached the Orb Union, Phantom Pain insisted that Orb helped them destroy the Martians. To keep this operation a secret, five Orb pilots were given GAT-01A2R 105 Slaughter Daggers, each mounting a different Striker Pack, to attack the Acdialium. This task force was led by Phantom Pain and GAT-X105E Strike Noir Gundam pilot Sven Cal Bayang, and Sars was assigned to the Launcher Slaughter Dagger.[1][2]
After the Acidalium left Orb's territory, the task force split up and attacked the ship. During the battle, Sars and Gard Dell Hokuha (pilot of the Lightning Slaughter Dagger) stayed behind and stopped the Acidalium with long-range bombardment, only to be disabled by Isaac Mau's TMF/A-802W2 Kerberos BuCUE Hound, which was launched from the Acidalium. Just as Issac delivered the fatal blow to the two Slaughter Daggers, Gard sacrificed himself and shielded Sars with his machine, allowing her to escape.[2]
Second Attack on the Acidalium[]
Following the death of Lord Djibril during the Battle of Daedalus, a group of Phantom Pain forces on Earth - led by Dana Snip and Emilio Bloderick - launched another attack on the Acidalium, spearheaded by a GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam piloted by Vanfeldt Ria Lindsay, with two Aile Slaughter Daggers (piloted by Waid Rabby Nadaga and Sars respectively) as escorts. After Ergnes Brahe's MMF-JG73L Turn Delta destroyed the Destroy Gundam and killed Vanfeldt in the process, Sars wanted to press on the attack, but Waid convinced her otherwise, telling her that they'll continue to survive in honor of Gard.[3]
