The STH-14s Hyakuri (百里, STH-14s Hyakuri^?) is a mobile suit featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS television series.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The main machine used by Teiwaz and and its lower branches such as Turbines, Hyakuri is a high mobility mobile suit that is used mainly for patrolling. The suit is also transformable, and changes into its flight mode by tucking its arms into its backpack, tilting its lower body slightly backwards and folding its feet down. Due to its unique backpack structure, the Hyakuri has terrible weight balance and hence used mainly in space.

Teiwaz based its operation in the Outer Sphere, where the the Ahab Waves are unstable and the optical visibility within the asteroid belt and debris region are poor, and because of this a MS with excellent search capabilities and unassisted long distance flight ability is required. The machine's protruding backpack serves as a large booster unit as well as a weapons rack, and also contained a large sensor for detecting Ahab Waves.

Due to Hyakuri's high trust, it excels at hit and run attacks, and is a threat to enemy ships as it can easily evade anti-air attacks. During reconnaissance missions, the Hyakuri usually operates on its own. Turbines usually deploys a team consisting of two Hyakurens and a Hyakuri. The machine can serve a wide range of roles including logistical support, whereby its backpack is filled with weapons and ammunitions for supplying the front lines. Besides the standard equipment configuration, there are two other variations of the Hyakuri, an intelligence support type specializing in reconnaissance and search, and a fire support type where the backpack is loaded with heavy equipment.The former is mostly used during interplanetary travel, while the latter is usually used for base defense.

Armaments

• Rifle

Hyakuri is equipped with a pair of rifles as its standard ranged weaponry. The rifles are manufactured by one of Teiwaz's lower branches, Euro Electronics, which is into heavy industries. The rifles are usable in flight form, where they are folded and mounted on the backpack.

• Knuckle Guard

Hyakuri is equipped with a pair of knuckle guards, they serve as shields and can be used to strike enemy units protected by nano laminated armor.

• Revolver-type Grenade Launcher

An optional weapon, the grenade launcher fires explosive shells. The weapon can be mounted on the backpack when not in use.
