The SPA-51 Cannon Illefuto is a long-range cannon type mobile suit in the Correct Century time-line. It was featured in the Turn A Gundam and was designed by Junya Ishigaki.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
Armaments
- Laser Cannon
As the main weapon of the Cannon Illefuto, it is mounted over the right shoulder of the unit and is used as a long range weapon.
- Shield
Attached to the left arm, its provides general protection for the mobile suit when under impending attack.
History
As the war with the Moonrace began in CC 2345, Inglessa leader Guin Sard Lineford directed miner Sid Munzer to search the mountains for mobile suits. His search yielded the AMX-109 Kapool. Also, in the nearby Luziana fiefdom, the ruling Borjarno family was doing the same and uncovered two types of mobile suits: the MS-06 Borjarnon and the MS-06 Borjarnon Gavane Goonny Custom. However, the search for mobile suits was continued elsewhere by civilians. One such suit, the SPA-51 Cannon Illefuto, was discovered by Will Game in a dried up riverbed. In this same area he also discovered a fully intact spaceship, the Willgem, which was named after him. For an ancient suit, the Cannon Illefuto carries a surprisingly-powerful laser cannon mounted over the right arm. While Rolan Cehack tried to convince Will to join the Earth Militia, sexy Moonrace assassin Teteth Halleh convinced Will to join with Dianna Counter. Placed under the command of Poe Aijee, Will first took his Cannon Illefuto into battle against the Luziana Militia's MS-06 Borjarnons. Will, an inexperienced pilot, was no match for the Borjarnon pilots and lost his life in the battle.
