The Rumble Ring (A.S. 122) is a duel featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime. It began as a traditional Rumble Ring battle royale for the Open Campus event, but was suspended when several Gundam units arrived and began attacking, escalating the situation into the Open Campus Incident.

History

A.S. 122

During the Rumble Ring, the Dawn of Fold attacked the school as cover for Shaddiq Zenelli and his subordinates to capture Sarius Zenelli, with mock battle participants Sabina Fardin and Renee Costa collaborating. Lauda Neill is seriously injured by Sophie Pulone and the Lfrith Ur, while Jubeju is killed by Norea Du Noc and the Lfrith Thorn.
