Rossweisse (ロスヴァイセ Rosuvuaise?) is a character from Advance of Zeta: The Traitor to Destiny.
History[]
Rossweisse is a Cyber Newtype from the Oakland Newtype Research Institute , a girl in her mid-teens whose abilities as a mobile suit pilot surpass even those of Ernest McGuire. However, her brainwave levels fail to meet the required standard, and she suffers from emotional instability, leading researchers to classify her as an "UF (Unfinished Cyber Newtype)."
Her name, Rossweisse, was given to her by Dr. Loki at Ernest’s request, as he refused to refer to her by the UF designation.
Assigned to the Titans as a sergeant, Rossweisse initially struggles with communication and is deeply dependent on Ernest. However, through his persistent efforts, she gradually opens up to those around her. Unfortunately, after undergoing readjustments by her assigned technician, Ms. Ljung, her mental state deteriorates—her emotions become increasingly eroded, leaving her with nothing but an overwhelming fixation on Ernest.
Through resonance with Van Asiliaino and the Shaman Frame, her mind eventually regresses to a childlike state. In the final battle, she is forcibly incorporated into the ORX-007 [Hati] as a biological component by the Titans to enable a nuclear attack on Earth. However, through the combined resonance of Van, Danica, and Ernest via the Shaman Frame, Rossweisse is able to regain her true self.
In the epilogue, she leaves for Mariner City on Mars with Ernest, where the two start a new life together and have two children.
