Rize (リゼ Rize?) is a character in the manga Gundam Build Diver Rize. He is the pilot of the Core Gundam[Rize].
Personality & Character[]
As Rize was just born very recently, Rize lacks common sense and the capability to express emotions, responding to others in a mechanical tone. However, during emotional situations such as battle, his hair rises and his demeanor becomes violent.
History[]
The 87th EL-Diver to be born, Rize manifested in front of Diver Tetsu. He gave himself the name "Rize" after the first word that appeared in his head, "RISE". Guided by that word, Rize decided that he wanted to surpass Kyoya Kujo and become the GBN champion.
Tetsu decided to take him to the EL-Diver Birth Center run by Tsukasa Shiba and Koichi Nanase. However, on the way, Tetsu was distracted by their conversation, and almost knocks into Hiroto's Core Gundam, dropping Rize in the process. The Core Gundam left a deep impression on Rize, and he designed the Core Gundam[Rize] based on it, which was then built by Tetsu. Rize also used the Core Gundam[Rize] as his Mobile Doll body for moving in the real world. Tetsu later became Rize's guardian.
