Reverend Malchio's Orphanage is a building introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
Overview[]
The Orphanage is located in the Marshall Islands, a short distance away from the Orb Union. It is owned and run by Reverend Malchio.
History[]
Reverend Malchio used the Orphanage to take in and help raise children that had lost their parents, some of them during the First Alliance-PLANT War.[1][2] After the end of the war, Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne moved into the Orphanage to help Malchio raise the children,[3] and were later joined by Kira's adopted mother Caridad Yamato.[4] In C.E. 73, the Orphanage was destroyed by the shattered remains of Junius Seven during the "Break The World" Incident. However, Malchio, Kira, Lacus, Caridad, and the children survived, having moved to the Orphanage's underground shelter before the building was destroyed.[4]
