The RX-78F00/E Gundam (RX-78F00/E ガンダム RX-78F00/E Gandamu?) is a Mobile Suit statue created for the Gundam Next Future Pavilion.
Technology and Combat Characteristics[]
The RX-78F00/E Gundam is a renewable energy demonstration test machine, intended to operate independently in space for long periods without resupply. Its biggest distinguishing feature is the highly efficient state-of-the-art solar energy conversion system known as the G.L.R.S.S. Feather, which is mounted on its back. With the power this supplies, the machine can maintain a high level of basic performance without putting any burden on its surrounding environment.

- EX-001 G.L.R.S.S. Feather
- The G.L.R.S.S. (Gundam Leaping Recursive Spangle Swarm) Feather is equipment that serves as the core of the RX-78F00/E Gundam's renewable energy demonstration test system. The three major components of this system are high-performance solar power cells, a high-capacity power accumulator, and manipulators. The manipulators function mainly to help attach and remove the accumulator the accumulator parts, which use a modular structure. It also has advanced autonomous flight functions, independently of the Gundam itself.
History[]
This Gundam statue is featured at the Gundam Next Future Pavilion at Osaka's Expo 2025 from April 13 to October 13, 2025. It reuses components of Gundam Factory Yokohama's original life-size moving Gundam statue. The statue, in its new form as the RX-78F00/E Gundam, will be approximately 17 meters tall in a kneeling pose, with one arm raised, though it will no longer be movable.
