Design & Development

Although the Gundam "Tristan" is based on the RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex", its development history and how it was acquired remain undisclosed.

The AN-01 is equipped with a beam rifle similar to the one used by the RX-93 ν Gundam.

Operational History

The Gundam AN-01 was piloted by Cyber Newtype Quentin Fermo who attacked the Earth Federation Forces team "Mastema".

Trivia

• The Gundam "Tristan" is named after Tristan from the 12th century Anglo-Norman mythological tale Tristan and Iseult.
  • The name "Tristan" is previous used on the Beam Cannons on Minerva from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.
