The RX-78-lā-III Lah Gundam (RX-78-lā-III ラーガンダム Rā Gandamu^?), also referred to as the Sangata (参型^?), is a Gunpla appearing in Gundam Build Metaverse.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

A Gunpla Rio Hojo built using the RX-78-2 Entry Grade model as a base. Primarily movable areas such as the unit's shoulders, waist and knees have been customized, and while the scope of its alterations may be rather straightforward, they work to great effect. Using as many of the unit's basic elements as possible, this custom Gunpla aims to get the most out of the smallest amount of customizations, and the ease at which the Entry Grade kit can be assembled makes it the perfect choice for a beginner like Rio. The Lah Gundam, its name inspired from the Hawaiian word "Lā" meaning sun, spans specifications from the two iterations of the original Gundam: it has been reverted from the white and blue color scheme of the unit's prototype iteration, the Shisaku Ichigata; it features the reinforced joints of the Nigata; and houses other reinforcements and new weaponry seen on the Sangata. Much like its namesake, the Lah Gundam, thanks to the experimentation and careful construction its creator, rises like the sun, shining brightly on his Gunpla battle journey.^[1]

Armaments[]

60mm Vulcan Gun: A pair of 60mm three-barrel vulcan guns are mounted in the Gundam's head and are used for mid-range and close combat defense. They are useful for intercepting incoming missiles/rockets, destroying mobile suit sensors, and attacking lightly-armored vehicles.

Beam Lā Rifle: The Lah Gundam's multi-sensor on its forehead as well as its Custom Scope give the unit (Sangata) specialized mobile firepower capabilities. Along with a plentiful amount of high energy shots, the unit also excels at compensating for trajectory while targeting ranged shots.^[1]

Beam Lā Naginata: Custom melee weaponry for the Sangata unit that was built using the weaponry of the Mushakage Gundam as one source of inspiration. The weapon is typically separated into two parts and mounted to either side of the Lah Gundam's backpack.^[1]

Lā Shield: A brand new type of half-sized shield that Rio built from scratch when customizing the Sangata. Coming in an easy-to-handle shape, the front end of the shield has been constructed such that it can perform piercing attacks. It can also be mounted to the center of the Lah Gundam's backpack.^[1]
