The Gundam (American Type) (ガンダム（アメリカンタイプ）, Gandamu (Amerikan Taipu)^?) is a life-size statue that appears in the first episode of the ONA Gundam Breaker Battlogue. It is a variant of the RX-78-2 Gundam.

History

The Gundam (American Type) is a 1/1 scale statue that is the centerpiece of the arena during the 13th United States Gunpla Battle Championship. It is based off of the model used by the currently unnamed winner of the first tournament.

• The Entry Grade 1/144 RX-78-2[US] Gundam (American Type) is a region exclusive model kit only available at Targets in the United States.
  • Some Target locations have begun pulling Gunpla from store shelves, making this model kit potentially hard to find in the future. However, it is still available on their website currently.
• To obtain the Gundam (American Type) at Gundam Breaker Mobile, the Gunpla can be obtained at the "The Waving Stars and Stripes" 1-week event on December 22, 2021, where all its parts can be purchased on the 3-star Event Coin exchange shop.
  • On April 5, 2023, the Gundam (American Type) is one of the many remaining event suits to be re-released for the "GBM Appreciation Festival" event, though it does not come with its own Alteration option as the game will be terminated from service on June 5.
