The RX-121-1+FF-X29A Gundam TR-1 [Hazel-Rah] is the combined version of the RX-121-1 Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] with the FF-X29A G-Parts [Hrududu]. It appears in the Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans manga.
Technological and Combat Characteristics[]
The configuration of the RX-121-1 Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] equipped with the FF-X29A G-Parts [Hrududu] is known as the RX-121-1+FF-X29A [Hazel-Rah]. When attached to the Hazel Custom, the Hrududu functions as a supplemental propulsion device, and active movement of its left and right wing units also produces AMBAC effects, allowing them to act as high mobility binders. The addition of the Hrududu, equipped with sub-sensors and additional armor, significantly enhances both firepower and mobility. With these upgrades, overall performance exceeds even that of Anaheim Electronics' Gundams such as the MSF-007 Gundam Mk-III and MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki, which were high-end second-generation mobile suits and which themselves featured binders.[1] When equipped with the Hrududu's parts, the Hazel Custom's beam rifle becomes a long blade rifle that can be used for long-range sniper attacks. Thanks to the heat blade underneath its barrel, this rifle can also be employed in melee combat.
Armaments[]
- Beam Saber
- The standard close combat armament for Earth Federation mobile suits, it is a small cylindrical device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by a rechargeable energy capacitor. The beam saber emits a blade of plasma contained by an I-field and is capable of cutting through any metal alloy.
- Long Blade Rifle
- The long blade rifle is used as a regular beam rifle, it also doubles as a shield to protect itself from enemies. It can also produce a heat blade, allowing it to cut down enemies when there's no time to deploy its beam sabers. The Long Blade Rifle can also transform into a miniature MS an can be used an an INCOM. Like all Beam Rifles of the period, the Long Blade Rifle is powered by a replaceable E-Pac.
- Shield Booster
- This device is a further evolution of the sturm boosters (a device which contains thrusters for increasing propulsion purposes) used by earlier mobile suits, but unlike its ancestors the shield booster is retained as a shield after its propellant supply is exhausted, rather than being discarded when empty.
Special Equipment & Features[]
- Multipurpose Launchers
History[]
In June U.C. 0087, a test was planned using the Advanced Hazel as the base unit, with Audrey assigned as the pilot. However, following a sudden attack by the AEUG, the unit was immediately deployed into combat. It engaged three GM IIs during the skirmish, successfully destroying one. At the time of this engagement, the unit was configured in its full armor form, though the sub-arm unit had not yet been installed.
