The RX-106M Marine Hizack was an amphibious mobile suit based on the RX-106 Prototype Hizack and was introduced in Advance of Zeta Re-Boot: Gundam Inle.

Design & Development[]

The RX-106M Marine Hizack is a prototype experimental mobile suit developed by modifying the base machine of the Principality of Zeon’s MS-06M Zaku Marine Type, replacing the Zaku II frame with the RX-106 Prototype Hizack. Its underwater equipment was upgraded to match the specifications of the Zaku Marine Type, aiming to complete it as a highly advanced amphibious mobile suit. [1]

Developed as a potential successor to the underperforming MS-06M Zaku Marine Type and RAG-79 Aqua GM, it aimed to overcome their limitations. However, due to the Earth Federation Forces’ general reluctance to invest in underwater MS development—and the Titans' concurrent focus on underwater-use G Parts for the TR Project—the Marine Hizack program was canceled after producing only a few prototypes. While its equipment mirrored that of the original Zaku Marine Type, the use of the high-performance Prototype Hizack as a base resulted in a unit with significantly improved overall capabilities. [1]

While its overall appearance is reminiscent of the Prototype Hizack, it features several notable differences: modified goggle sensors, the removal of the left-side power pipe—similar to the RMS-188MD Zaku Diver—and a backpack based on an advanced version of the RGM-79U GM Sloep. This backpack would later influence the design of the F90M Gundam F90 Marine Type under the Formula Project.[1]

Operational History[]

After the fall of the Titans, remnants who fled to Mars brought the Marine Hizack with them. Under ReZeon, the unit was mass-produced and became a valuable asset in underwater operations.
