The RMS-156 Griffon is an upgraded variant of the RMS-108 Marasai from the manga version of the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam anime series.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

With the RMS-108 Marasai becoming obsolete during the second half of the Gryps Conflict, the Titans sought to modify the Marasai to extend its service life and improve its overall performance. Improvements included the right shoulder shield being replaced with large spike armor and the head unit with a Gundam-type design. The Griffon also utilized parts from the RMS-154 Barzam to improve performance and ease cost on production, maintenance and repair.
