The RGM-89GF Ghost Jegan F is a Gunpla based on the RGM-89D Jegan D Type. It is part of the Hobby Hobby Imaging Builders series and available as a P-Bandai exclusive HGBF Gunpla kit.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
A shadow-colored mobile suit designed for stealth operations in nighttime and space environments. The word "F" in its name stands for "fearless". As opposed to the Ghost Jegan M, it is equipped with active sensors to excel in dynamic tactics.[1]
Armaments[]
- Hand Grenade
- Three hand grenades are carried in the grenade rack mounted on the left side armor.
- Beam Saber
- A beam saber is stored in a rack on the right side of the waist.
- Heat Knife
- A pair of heat knifes are mounted on Ghost Jegan F's storage rack on the backpack. A simple weapon that can also be used for setting up traps made of materials found on the battlefield, such as trees.[1]
- Bazooka
- A physical projectile-type firearm similar to the ones used by the Jegan D Type and other Earth Federation Forces' mobile suits in the mid U.C.0090s. A spare ammunition cartridge is mounted in front of the bazooka's grip.
- Beam Gun
- 20mm caliber pistol-type beam gun with low firepower, but can be rapid-fired. A battery/magazine is loaded in the grip, allowing for reloading during battle.
- Beam Rifle
- The same beam rifle used by the Jegan D Type. It has a short barrel for ease of handling, and is most effective in mid-close range combat due to its short firing range.
- Beam Rifle (Jesta Cannon Type)
- The same beam rifle used by the Jesta Cannon. This rifle is the Jesta's beam rifle with expansion parts.
- Grenade Launcher
- Beam Sniper Rifle
- A custom large beam sniper rifle with a caliber size of 200mm, a monopod mounted under the barrel can be deployed for enhanced stability during firing. Both of its foregrip and main grip are movable to improve the large weapon's handling characteristic. After folding the stock, the rifle can be mounted onto the K9 Dog Pack and be used by the support unit.
- Shield
- A standard defensive armament used to protect against attacks. A pair of twin missile launchers are integrated to the shield.
- Twin Missile Launcher
Special Equipment & Features[]
- DP-K9 K9 Dog Pack
- The Ghost Jegan F can optionally be equipped with the K9 Dog Pack. When equipped, it can detach and transform into a four-legged support unit that can mount the beam sniper rifle as its head. It is also known as "Hound" and can move around by hovering.
- APC
- Visor Unit
- A special visor unit mounted on the head with incorporated active sensors.

- According to the HGBF Ghost Jegan F instruction manual, this suit was equipped with the n_i_t_r_o System. In the manga Gundam Build Fighters Amazing Ready, it was equipped with the EXAM System instead.
