The RGM-79CR GM Kai High Mobility Type is a mobile suit that appears in the novel Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans.
History
After the Earth Federation Forces decided to formally adopt the RGM-79R (RGM-179) GM II as their next-generation mobile suit, the RGM-79CR GM Kai High Mobility Type was created as a test evaluation machine to investigate whether the Titans should adopt it as well. Using the RGM-79C GM Kai as a base, the sensors, thrusters, and other systems were upgraded to match the specifications of the GM II.
