Persia (ペルシア?) is a fictional character from the Mobile Suit Gundam anime series and the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga.
History[]
Persia and her son Coaly were residents of Side 7 who, following the Zeon attack, evacuated the colony aboard the White Base. The White Base subsequently landed on Earth and began a long trek across the North American continent while pursued by Zeon forces. Shortly after passing the Grand Canyon, Persia and several other evacuees asked to leave the White Base to find refuge in a nearby town. Unlike the others, however, Persia and her son headed instead for her hometown of St. Agnes, which was not too far from their current location. She would later discover from Zeon soldiers that St. Anges had been destroyed during the war.
