Main article: Guel Jeturk vs. Parker Eastcott Parker Eastcott (who, at the time, had 2 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie) laughed at the then-current holder, Guel Jeturk (who had, up until that point, won all 26 of his duels), calling him "a man with a runaway bride", thus he was challenged to a duel. Following Parker's defeat, Guel expected Parker to apologize like a grovelling worm and for Miorine to see it, but Miorine left [1].
