The PMX-003 The O II (aka "Hauer" or "Neo Geo") is a variant of the PMX-003 The O and appears in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Revival of Zeon manga. It was designed and illustrated by Kazuhisa Kondo and Makoto Kobayashi.

Technology & Characteristics

During the development of the original PMX-003, a group of former Zeon engineers taking part in the project saw the potential of the design and secretly drew up plans of a siege mobile suit based on the The O by equipping it with more heavy weaponry. It was planned as a type of armed land-fortress, with a single unit capable of handling an entire assault on enemy territory thanks to its heavy weapons and armor. The O II was fitted with an array of offensive weaponry, including a pair of beam guns in the chest turret, a pair of machine cannons in the clavicle area, a pair of beam saber-wielding sub-arm units in the front skirts, missile launchers on the backpack and a large 120mm machine gun. It's main mode of transport were twelve high-powered hover units positioned on its legs and underskirt, giving The O II considerable mobility on land, and because of these modifications, The O II was significantly larger than the original The O. However, it was extremely costly and difficult to manufacture, so production was halted with only a small number of units and variants. This marked change in appearance being identified by a change of name to "Hauer".
